Some of our users/developers (the difference tends to be blurred when you're using Zope) used and liked the <dtml-eval> tag in older zopes. I've just upgraded to the newest and bestest, but hestitate to install evaltag. The evaltag package / patch includes a fix for dtml-comment so you can have malformed dtml code inside it. I think this was was put in the standard code a couple of releases back, so I'm afraid that the patch won't install cleanly. -Magnus

You are probably using Python 1.5.2, whereas Michel was using a more recent build. Like I said in my e-mail, you need to ensure you have python talking to mysql. To do this, you will either have to install Distutils module from the python site or better still update to python 2.1 -- as Zope 2.4 will be moving to this, in which case Distutils is build with this. I tried for example: n = raw_input("Guess a number between 1 and 100") n.lower() but I just get AttributeError: 'string' object has no attribute 'lower'

ZSQLMethod sqltest with like and %

Hi I had trouble with getting this: select * from qryPerson where Surname like '%urnet%' (where I had given urnet as the search text.) The following works, and as I couldn't find a solution in the docs or mailing list, I thought I'd post it here for others as dumb as me to see:-) <dtml-let Surname="'%' + Surname + '%'"> select * from qryPerson where <dtml-sqltest Surname op=like type=string> </dtml-let> Mind you, I can't help thinking that the op=eq should be clever enough to use 'like' when a string contains wildcards. Hello, This is the files I am using for my build on Windows 2000 Zope2.3.3 MySQL 3.23.39 Python 1.5.2 ZMySQLDA-2.0.7 MySQL-python 0.9.0 ...and I get an error message on the DOS prompt, although Zope still starts but without the ZMySQLDA product (See end of file) Any help in tackling this so I can load the ZMySQLDA product would be well appreciated. File upload - form doesn't empty the "file" field

Hello, I know this might be a HTML question but I'm not very experienced in file uploads. So please bear with me. I have created a form which - among other - uploads a file to the filesystem. That works. But when I go back to the upload page, updates some attributes and submit the data, the data that comes back contains the file that I uploaded the last time. The file attribute of the request isn't being emty. Do I have to set VALUE="" at the input field ??? Anyone with a good idea ? Regards,
