How do I get all properties from a list of folders via acquisition?

Hi all, Suppose I have a folder (documents) with the following (id value) folders in it s1cb s1ot ejr_bj (these are internal codes for documents we use, if you're interested they mean 'Cell Biology', 'Organisation of Tissues' and 'Bones and Joints'). And each one of those folders has a property 'guideid' which have the values s1cb, s1ot, ejr_bj respectively. Each folder also has a property, 'guidetype' which for s1cb and s1ot is 'sguide' whereas for ejr_bj it is 'esr'. Suppose also that in that folder I have three other folders; 1999 2000 2001 With the property 'year' and values 1999,2000,2001. If I construct URLs of the form /documents/s1cb/1999/render How do I get a list of properties such as guideid:s1cb, guidetype:sguide, year:1999 Into my render method? This is driving me batty at the moment. Hi again, I'd like to make a page with a list of my Zclass instances and to be able to sort them by different key. I tryed with this code : <dtml-if "REQUEST.has_key('skey')"> <dtml-else> <dtml-call "REQUEST.set('skey', 'bobobase_modification_time reverse')"> </dtml-if> <dtml-in "objectValues(['article'])" size=3 sort=skey start=query_start> But it doesn't work : instances are not sorted correctly... dear sir , I am using ZEvent and sucessfully installed , and we are getting ZEvent in add product List. After adding ,we are specified some time to execute some task(like copy one object from one folder to another folder). But it is not working properly . in ZEvent management screen i tried with Trigger tab it is throwing exception like --------- Exception :- " You are not authorized to access this resource. No Authorization header found. (File: C:\Program Files\zope\lib\python\ZPublisher\HTTPResponse.py Line: 588) 401 Unauthorized for http://sw8:8080/NShedu/trigger " ---------- Please give me clear idea about ZEvent.. Actually my task is i want to copy one folder from zope server to local HardDisk at particular time Everyday is it possible with ZEvent ??? and i tried with "Xron Dtml Method" also getting same exception . if possible please give me the code... reply as soon as possible.. Hello, I dont' understand one point: - the gdchart cause one request to hang, good. But this should not froze the zserver, usually there are several threads running. As I understand, the zserver should froze when you have sended N requests which get stuck in the gdchat lib. N being the number of threads configured in Z2.py. Was it like this?? build a query string out of a dictionary (REQUEST.form)

Hi all, does somebody know if there is a method/function built in Zope converting a dictionary to a query string? I'd like to access it in a DTML method or Python Script. I just tried to program a small Python Script, but methods out of urlib can not be used :-( The purpose is to append the actual query string to a link. But I like to replace parts of the query! I'd like to build a link the following way (DTML snippet): <dtml-let qs="buildQueryString(REQUEST.form, replace={'foo':'bar'})"> <a href="dtml-absolute_url;>?<dtml-qs>">foobar</a> </dtml-let> So a form value of e.g. 'foo=xxx' would be replaced by 'foo=bar'. I saw discussions about this topic in the list, but no answers with usable solutions. Did I miss it? I don't like to make a Product to support this!
