This is fairly straight forward in python: import string f = open('file.csv') for a in f.readlines(): b = string.split(a, ',') # b is a list of all the line elements All you need to do after that is use the data in b to add a ZClass instance. It is the Zope concept: use DTML to create forms and actions that permit to edit your objects and present them on your site. Have a look to the Zope book. Undo?

All, If I make changes to an object through the management interface then undo details get added to the undo list. Let's say that I delete an object. If I though delete an object through calling manage_delObjects(ids=<somelist>) then the undo info is not saved. Am I missing something, do I have to call something else, is this just not possible? tia Phil phil.harris(a)zope.co.uk

Hali! I use <dtml-in foo size=5 start=start_point>. For example if the start_point=5 and the length of the foo's tuple is 13, then everything is ok. I get 5 item. But if the length of the foo's tuple is 12, then I get all 7 item remains in the tuple. It works wrong if the length of the remaing part of the list is lesser than size+size/2. Anybody knows about it? Thanks. Lajos

Use newer python for win32 zope?

is zope 2.4.0 under win32 compatible with the more recent python releases? if so, can I just change the start file to just use it? z2.py already modifies sys.path on its own, correct? Almost there -- Keith
