Tomcat vs Zope

ok ok, I know, I don't want to start a holy war here. I've been using Zope for a while, and I love python, but I see many people moving towards java/jsp/tomcat. I've studied java, but never liked too much, and so I tried to avoid it. But with all this "momentum" behind it, I think I might give it a try. Of course, being this a zope list, I know i'll get more positive opinions about the zope platform, but I'd like to hear from people who have tried both zope and tomcat: * what are the strenghts and weakness of both platforms? * is it possible to have something like the Zope Management Interface for Tomcat? * is tomcat web development object oriented as the zope one (I just love having objects that talk to each other and produce the pages. Squishdot problem with suggest_author

Hmm, I can't seem to get my squishdot site to allow postings. Everytime a non-logged in user tries to post a suggestion for a topic or a reply to a existing post, I get: Zope Error Zope has encountered an error while publishing this resource. Error Type: Unauthorized Error Value: You are not allowed to access suggest_author in this context The odd thing is if I press BACK on my browser, and then FORWARD, I get in. Any ideas? You can absolutely forget, that any Non-Zopist understands what's really going on. Of course, my approach of a simple CMF demo with a Java tool on www.goeldi.com/e/demo is way to slow and big (1024 screen size). But it is much better to follow and to understand.
