Hi, I want to convert a CSS File to a DTML Document with the CSS Properties as DTML Document Properties. Is there a script out there ?

Installing MySQL-python-0.9.1 on Solaris 2.6 problem

Hi, I am trying to install MySQL-python-0.9.1 on Solaris 2.6 under Zope-2.5.1beta. Saving files to zope using Dreamweaver?

I am a really new user of Zope. In going through the Zope book I am stumped in the following section. I seem to be missing some very important key piece of information. I have tried to save my Dreamweaver templates to the ../index_html/source.html. However because index_html is not a folder the ftp client in Dreamweaver will not allow me to access the url. I guess I don't understand how one is supposed to save a file to a URL when the file.Save As.. option is dependent upon directories. If anyone has some insight to offer please let me know. **** Cut From Zope Book*** Using Zope Page Templates Now, log into your Zope and create a folder called FileLib. In this folder, create a Page Template called index_html by selecting Page Template from the add menu, specifying the Id index_html in the form, and clicking Add. ????????????????????? I don't understand this section ?????????????????? Now, with your HTML editor, save the above HTML to the URL of the index_html Page Template followed by /source.html, for example, http://localhost:8080/FileLib/index_html/source.html. Notice that the URL to save the index_html page ends in source.html. Because Page Templates are dynamic, you need a way to edit the raw source of the template, unrendered by the page template language. Appending source.html to a Page Template gives you this raw source. Note, if the content-type of your page is text/xml then you'll use source.xml, rather than source.html. ??????????????????????????? Now that you've saved the template, you can go back to Zope and click on index_html and then click on its Test tab to view the template. Help! The suits are taking away my Zope!

I read the recent thread about the so-called WebDAV support in Office2K, and it raised some hope that someone may be able to help me. I am about to have my Zope intranet yanked out from under me, tentatively to be replaced by, of all things, MS SharePoint Server. I have a new "Corporate VP of MIS," who truly believes the whole "increased productivity" myth that MS propounds. Anyway, here's my situation. I have a central ZEO server and four remote ZEO clients. The ZEO clients function as each remote location's "local" intranet server, by caching most of the content, and requesting new objects when notified by the ZEO server that an object has been updated. Each site connects back to the ZEO server by VPN. Oh, and as of today, the remote servers are Zope 2.3, ZEO 1.0b3, and Linux, and the central ZEO server is Zope 2.3, ZEO 1.0b3, and NT4SP6 (*not* my idea!). It works great, giving us near real-time file sharing. But, my users have two complaints that I can't resolve. One, you can't use Office2K for collaborative editing of a document. Now, *we* know that's because Microsoft didn't do WebDAV right. But the suits' perception is "it works with SharePoint, so something must be wrong with Zope." I have no doubts that this is exactly the reaction that MS planned for. Is there any way to make Zope work with the bastardized MS implementation of WebDAV? Their second complaint is that users can't attach a Zope-served document to an email from within MS Outlook. I've tried everything I can think of, but Outlook appears to be brain-damaged. It seems to me that it can only understand "drive letters," not even the so-called WebDAV Folders that MS uses. By "drive letters," it seems to mean UNC mapped SMB shares. Has anyone done any work with making the ZODB speak SMB? I'd really like to stay with the ZODB for storage, because the way ZEO works is one of my biggest selling points for Zope. If I have to go to FileStorage to use Samba, and arrange for scheduled replication over the VPN, I'd be in no better shape than SharePoint, and we'd lose that near real-time thing that everyone seems to love. So, can anyone tell me how to get Zope to serve something that Outlook can understand? Craig Dunigan Web Programmer Esker Software 608.273.6000

Virtual Host Folder setup

Hi, I want the following setup URL served by http://www.mysite.de apache http://www.mysite.de/zope zope-root http://www.mysite.de/first zope-root/first Zope is running behind apache with pcgi, my httpd.conf looks like this: RewriteCond %{HTTP:Authorization} ^(.*) RewriteRule ^(.*) /usr/local/ZopePark/mysite.de/cgi-bin/Zope.cgi/$1 [e=HTTP_CGI_AUTHORIZATION:%1,t=application/x-httpd-cgi,l] I can't figure out the correct settings for this setup. Could someone give me a hint ? total size of files in a folder

Hi, I want to get the total size of a folder. I do a loop over all files in the folder, but it gives me only the size of the last file in the folder: <dtml-let total_size="0"> <dtml-in "Files.objectValues()"> #Files is the name of my folder <dtml-let total_size="total_size+size"> <dtml-if sequence-end> <dtml-var total_size> </dtml-if> </dtml-let> </dtml-in> </dtml-let> Alternatively, is there simply a variable I can lookup to get the size of the folder?
