Hi all, I (i am a newbie) have written a simple python script that queries a MS-SQL database and captues the result set into a list. I have called this sccipt in a dtml document and want to iterate through the list elements. When i do this- <dtml-in expr="Python_script()"> <li> <dtml-var text> </li> </dtml-in> where, "text" is the list that is returned by the python scirpt. It says - Error Type: KeyError Error Value: text My question is, how do i iterate through the list and obtain the values from the list. Thanking you in advance Madhavi Bagepalli

Gadfly SQL-Syntax are there comments and how do they look?

Zope and MySQL

We hadn't dabbled with Zope and database connectivity before, so we decided to initially try getting it connecting to MySQL. After some initial problems, we got this working fine with one exception. If our server has to be restarted for any reason, then the rpm of MySQL that we installed stops working (amongst other things, the socket seems to disappear off the server!). So, each time the server is restarted (not very often thankfully), we have to reinstall MySQL. Anyone hazard a guess why it's doing this? Richard H.

A possible bug in AccessControl.User

Hi, There's a line(#629) in AccessControl.User, within method validate(), saying: if emergency and user is emergency:.... I find out that, when I log in as emgergency user, 'user is emergency' always fails, even though logically user = emergency = self._emergency_user! I furthor discover that it seems to happen to all extention classes, i.e.: a = b = SomeExtentionClass() a is b will return 0. Well, this's not really a bug, since everything works fine, but there must be something wrong. Either a bug in extention class, or that line in user.py is useless. I'd like to hear some explanation. Data.fs Recovering...

My zope doesn't starts and I believe that my Data.fs file is broken.
