Good Examples of Products Using ZPT

I'm just starting to learn ZPT, and while the latest updates to the Zope Book have been very helpful, I still don't have a clear idea of the right way to use ZPT (instead of DTML) when creating a product. Any suggestions on well-written products I should examine? Thanks, Anders Schneiderman

Page Templates problem

Dear all, When attempting to create a new Page Template I get the following error (only when editing in Internet Explorer, it doesn't raise an error in Netscape). Has anyone come across this before? Barnes & Nobles Putting Zope Books in the wrong place!!!!!!

I don't know who knows anybody at B&N, but maybe the authors of the ZOPE related books can all call the booksellers and get them to put the Zope books in the correct section! Currently, B&N keeps the ZOPE books in the Networking systems section, a hodge podge of books that have absolutely nothing to do with Web App development. I brought this to the attention of the section manager, and, although he agreed with me, he told me there are other people higher up the food chain that decide these things, and that he could not move them. The computer inventory system would have to tell him where to put the books. There is a Web Development section, and a Languages section. Either one would be more apropos for Zope books. The Python section has grown considerably, and if placed in the language section, would be within a shelf of the well-browsed python language books. The Web development section is fairly huge, and mostly related to various ASP, PHP, and other tools, and, given it's size, would be harder to stand out in, although it would be a more apropriate section. On the plus side, being at the END of a section (Z) is a good thing. So, after having to browse EVERY section at B&N, and finding Zope in the 'wrong' one, I'd like it to be easier for EVERYONE to find these books. Enough said, just wanting to let somebody know. TAL compilation error

I am compiling a page template and I get this message: Compilation failed TAL.TALDefs.METALError: METAL attributes on <div> require explicit </div>, at line 203, column 1 I have checked my code and there is definitely a matching </div> for every <div> on the page. Does anyone know how to go about debugging this? The tag at line 203, column 1 is <div metal:fill-slot="main"> if that makes any difference. T.

Including images into stx

Hi, Are there people who already have experience with using images into stx? I'm trying to use the stx_to_html method on zope2.5 but it returns me an Attribute error concerning expandtabs. Are there other ways to include images inside stx? I really need this to convince the people. They now make every tutor page (consisting of some parts text and images) in html. They themself realise that this will not be maintainable in the future (when non-html users must make the page). So I proposed STX. Which is concerning the text part very handy (they only need some bullet lists and bold text)... but now I'm a little bit uncertan concerning putting images inside STX... Is there somebody who can give me a small example? I'm afraid that if I'm not able to find a solution on this, people will use other products. Other ideas are welcome! Regards, Tom.

Make a Python Script and submit to it, getting the parameters out of context.REQUEST and doing whatever you feel like with them. LocalFS problem while booting server

Hi, I have installed Zope 2.5.0 (with Python 2.1.2) on a FreeBSD 4.2 server behind Apache 1.3.20 with PCGI. Zope is started at boot time from /etc/rc.local with the command /usr/local/zope/bin/zopectl start After booting, LocalFS does not work.
