Hello, I know this is a very simple question but I couldn't find out the answer. How can I get the name of the creator of an object? Thanks Martin

[Bug] refresh does not work for products initialized in the old style

Recently, someone complaint about being unable to refresh his product. After the first refresh, he was unable create new instances of his product. He got an unintelligent error message: "AttributeError: None object does not have attribute _setObject" I just found out why this happens: Products using old style initializations install their constructors as methods of "Folder.Folder". When the product is reinstalled during a refresh, then in "OFS.Application.install_product" it is checked whether "Folder.Folder" already has the method. It has! The old method from the time before the refresh. Therefore, the old constructors remain installed. I do not yet understand, why a "self" that should be a folder is passed as None, but I am convinced it has to do with the outdated constructor in "Folder.Folder". Upgrading to new style initialization works around the problem. Dieter

How could i view all Versions of a dtml document and how could i compare two of them with DTML ? i saw manage_history but i don't know how this works :-(

RPMs on www.zope.org do NOT work on Redhat 7.2

Hello, I am having real difficulty with Zope+pcgi-wrapper. (http://www.taupro.com/Downloads/Zope/Zope243) On the machines where I have been testing (two so far) I am only allowed to install RPM's. The traditional ./configure; make; make install are not allowed (because it's more difficult to remove later). I used the RPM's that are advertised on www.zope.org, followed post-install instructions, and.. normal access works, but /manage does NOT let me in. AT ALL. This happens on two different machines. Now what? Can anybody help? Regards, Ron Arts

DTML to ZPT converter?

Does there exist something of this kind? I do not expect the perfect results but the tool which would just translate rather simple standard_html_header html-body standard-html-footer into the page template seem to be possible to implement....
