STX (Wiki) to PDF?

I've been looking around the Zope Book CVS and web pages trying to find the elusive "STX to PDF" conversion tools. Anyone have any pointers? I need a way to dump a Wiki into a single PDF document. Figured I'd have to build something, but would like to find an STX to PDF converter to start with. Thanks for any hints. Does anyone have suggestions for an approach to executing a dtml method nightly? The platform is Windows 2000, and I have access to the Task Scheduler to run python and perl scripts from the command line. Thanks! manage_addFile won't work

The following python code works when I upload a local file to my local Zope server, but gives a "resource not found" error when uploading any local file to a Zope Server across the internet: context.manage_addFile(id, file=new_file_object, title=title, precondition="", content_type="") (If I change "file=new_file_object" to "new_file_object" there is the same problem) Does this mean that I have to process the path/filename in a different way, or is it some kind of permissions issue ? And how can I simply overcome the problem, do I need to use an external method or some other solution? Mark Spencer.

Hi, I am trying to install Zope on our ES40 machine. I encountered problems with two C source files whose names seem to have been truncated: UnicodeSpli UnicodeSplitter.c and ISO_885 ISO_8859_1_Splitter.c Both are in the lib/python/Products/PluinIndexes/TextIndex/Splitter subtree I don't yet have a working version, but at least the compilation terminated... I just created a new site with Zope. What is the best way to gain exposure for the new site? - Yahoo requires $299 annually. I can't afford that. - Excite requires at leat $0.05 per click. What are the best deals in web listings? -- Milos Prudek

The Xron product, did the trick. Xron is a product that allows a timed event to be triggered internal to Zope. What I did was; install the product, and add an instance. This places a schedule object (Z Catalog I think) in your site root, and and Xron DTML method wherever locally you want it. Give it an ID, Execute At (starting time, in some time format Zope understands), and Reschedule Interval (nightly in my case). Then add dtml to the method (in this case a method that calls a python script that calls ZSQL directly.) It seems to work very well. Now a question. How stable is Xron? How/where do I find out about METAL, ZPTs and python products? I'm working in CMF. I want to the metadata_edit_form and associated files to use an existing xml schema to generate the meta data elements. xml-rpc and binary data & ZServer/medusa/rpc_server.py

Hi! Can somone tell me what kind of rpc ZServer/medusa/rpc_server.py provides? I am searching an alternative to xml-rpc becaues xml-rpc does only allow base64 encoded binary data. Is there a way to handle encoding and decoding of binary data transparently? (Without writing a wrapper or changing the source of zope) thomas
