Mystery error: "The resource you requested is temporarily unavailable"

Hi all, I'm quite desperate. Code that worked fine on local server fails miserably on a production server. The error message does not contain a traceback. This is the error message: ! Temporarily Unavailable The resource you requested is temporarily unavailable - please try again later. (116) unable to connect, fd=3 I'm not posting the source code at this stage because it is quite long. I just need to know what this error message means. -- Milos Prudek

Double dtml-in does not work?

Hi, I have that construction in "index_html" method (Zope 2.4.0). If it find file "index.htm" in directory, then it will show it without header and footer. In other case it will render as structured text whole content of directory. REQUEST.PUBLISHED ?

Is this the way to allow that a python script can only be called internally, not directly from the web ? if container.REQUEST.PUBLISHED != script: My code I know there is also the LockableFolder, but in this case I can't use it (because I am in another kind of folder)

The copy method of a dictionary returns a "shallow" copy of the dictionary. If you are changing elements of the dictionary that are themselves mutable, you will still have problems. Here are the rules (from the Python docs): The difference between shallow and deep copying is only relevant for compound objects (objects that contain other objects, like lists or class instances): a.. A shallow copy constructs a new compound object and then (to the extent possible) inserts references into it to the objects found in the original. b.. A deep copy constructs a new compound object and then, recursively, inserts copies into it of the objects found in the original. Providing you with more information would require that we know all the items in the 'foo' dictionary. Hi, In a database I have some information about our employees. Some fields are not filled in, so there value is NULL. When iterating over the results of a ZSQL query (select * from "Medewerkers") the non-existent variables (value=NULL) are reported with the word "None". I don't want show this keyword in my report-table, so I've created a python script that checks for the existence of the variable, and when it doesn't exist, I fill in a non-breaking space html -code. Basically I do two things in the script: I check the parameter and generate the name of the variable (that has to be checked)based on the parameter entered. Next I generate the output and return it. I'm convinced that the first part (check parameter, generate variablenaam to check) can be done in a more elegant way (less code), but trying to concatenate the value of the parameter to "context." isn't working.... Ideas, anyone? nested dtml-with

Greetings all, I have two snippets of code, the later I wish would work. Can anyone point out why? The structure: / folder1 / index_html folder2 / index_html This works: <dtml-with folder1> <dtml-var index_html> <dtml-with folder2> <dtml-var index_html> </dtml-with> </dtml-with> This doesn't: <dtml-in "['folder1', 'folder2']"> <dtml-with "_.getitem(_['sequence-item'])"> <dtml-var index_html> </dtml-with> </dtml-in> I'd like the second to work. If I inject that with a try/except I find the first iteration works, but the second raises a key error. Can someone help? Thanks as always, Paz

Using ZClass in LocalFS

Is there a way to use ZClasses with LocalFS? Just like it is possible to make DTML Document inside Zope from FS, isn't there a way to use our own ZClass instead? I tried to modify in the 'edit' tab and added my own type of file extention. It looks like this right now: .tem text/html Control_Panel.Products.MyProduct.MyZClass Which obviously does not work. access document contents in DTML

Hi all, If I have a DTML document that contains three other DTML documents (which basically contain some forms), in the following manner: doc1 doc a doc b doc c /doc1 where the component docs are doca forma /doca docb formb /docb docc formc /docc is there any way that I can find out in doc c whther or not there are any form elements of the same name if and when doc c is embedded in another doc. ie in doc c I would have a condition : <dtml-if "not form-el-name anywhere in container"> do blah <dtml-else> do booh </dtml-if> so that in doc 1 if any other sub-docs contain the same form-el name doc c publishes blah else it publishes booh.
