Hi list, Sorry about the messyness of my previous post, I'd forgotten to shift the email type to plain text. I've modified the code from before, but Its still not working.  <form action="meth_step_2" name="form2"> <table>  <tr> <td> <input type='checkbox' name='marketinglist:list' checked value=''></input> </td> <td></td> </tr> <TR><TD><button type="submit">Add</button></TD></TR> </form> </table>       When I display  within the in statement, the correct values display, they're just not seeming to make it to my query.  insert into mHoldingTable ( dealer_code ) values ( <dtml-sqlvar sequence-item type="string" > ); This is the error... Error Type: Bad Request Error Value: ['sequence-item']  Again, any help would be greatly appreciated. What I am trying to achieve is to pull some date from one table by an SQL query, and have the results selectable/de-selectable by the form of a checkbox - to then be dumped into a temporary table. I'm guessing that it's probably something simple, and I'm just too close to the code. This here is my selection via checkbox form.. this seems to pass the information to my next step ok... paypal IPN

I've been doing some searching for python tools to use paypal's IPN service. I found this page: http://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=p/pdn/article_pdn_intro-outside Which kinda helps, at least it's the right language... But it's written as a cgi script, so I'm a bit confused on the "args" Is anyone using an external method or product for this? How to hide Zope search results?

I would like to hide some Zope search results, how do I do that? I have a (plone) folder which is only accessible to the group "members", but whenever I do a search for a text string contained in a document in that folder, that document is also returned when I query for it as an anonymous (non-authenticated) user and I'd rather not have it returned at all. In fact, I only want the search results concerning the folder only accessible to group "members", whenever someone from group "members" is quering for it. Escape characters

Hello, In a DTML method, I am issuing the following call: <dtml-call "RESPONSE.redirect(someURL)"> someURL contains characters that should not be escaped ('@', ':'), but the default behavior kicks in and I end up with '%3' instead of ':'. Inheritance problem

Hello to all Zopers :) I noticed this problem quite a while ago, and it's still bothering me. Layout of the problem: Let's say we have a machine with a domain machine.net on it, running Zope server. Now, we want to host 2 new domains: domain1.com and domain2.com. Now, why does the following work: machine.net/Examples domain1.com/Examples domain2.com/Examples I understand why it works, but i would like to configure Zope so it doesn't work. Also, if we have a directory testing in domain1.com's folder, this will work too: machine.net/testing domain1.com/testing domain2.com/testing Is there a way to stop this for happening or is this an issue still not resolved? I assume it can be dealt with users and privileges, but I'm not quite sure. Anyone else have the same problem or is it just that my setup is incorrect? Zope Freezing up with multiple threads accessing objects.

Ok, I have narrowed down my problem to the following, when calling get_transaction().commit(), the : In ZODB: In ZODB.Transaction.Transaction commit line 264: self._finish_many(jars) _finish_many line 393: jar.tpc_finish(self) in ZODB.Connection.Connection tpc_finish line 692: self._storage.tpc_finish(transaction, self._invalidate_invalidating) in ZODB.BaseStorage.BaseStorage tpc_finish line 155: if transaction is not self._transaction: return Now this line returns without calling _invalidate_invalidating in Connection.Connection. This in turn causes that the global lock on Globals.DB is not released. This freezes up Zope. This keeps me up 'till 3 in the morning. What am I doing wrong that causes this. Shouldn't the code above have some safeguard against such blocking. Also logging this in the collector. Etienne

Using Client.py for remote admin

I have setup an administrative instance of Zope which will be used to manage and control a bunch of other instances. It's most convenient to be able to invoke methods from the administrative instance, but have all the action happen on the managed instance. For example, the administrative machine may want to create a ZDiscussion... Client.py seems well suited to this, but it seems to demand basic authentication rather than the cookiecrumbler approach I use. I'm a bit stuck as to how to work around the authentication issue. Other than that, everything seems to be working swimmingly.

Simple wikis

I'm using 2.6.1. It seems to me that, the last time I made a wiki they were simple enough that even _I_ found them easy to create. a. Am I right, or is my mind playing tricks? b. If I am correct, then could someone please suggest how I can get a really simple wiki page (that fits into an arbitrarily defined <div>) that contains nothing much more than a button offering an impetuous user the option of editing the page? That is, no comments, no reparenting, no information about who did the editing, and so on. And I hope this doesn't read like a complaint. :o) Best regards, Bill
