ZSQL Method and Checkboxes with unique names

Hello! I have a problem - I don`t know how to do this: I have a ZSQL Method called 'ALL' wich returns addresses, and I also have a DTML Method. In this DTML Method I want to display every 'ALL' element (address) as a checkbox with unique name(like a1, a2, a3, a4...). How can I do this? Please, help me! Weighing catalog searches per index ?

Hello, Does anybody know of a decent implementation of a scoring algorithm that does "weighing" of results, presumably based on the indexes used ? I'd like to explore the possibility of searching the catalog, but giving results from certain indexes priority over others. So in the case of the CMF, saying that if search terms are found in the Title or Descrption, they are more "important" than if they're found somewhere else and so on ... I know this is a common concept in more advanced search engines (Such as Oracle's InterMedia), but I'm wondering if anyone has done something like this in Zope ... Thanks for all the responses everyone. I actually got it all working and wrote a nice howto on ZopeLabs about it. It wasn't as straight forward as some of your responses were but that's because I had very specific things I wanted to make happen. What matters is the names of the username and password input elements. They need to match the names configures in CookieCrumbler (__ac_name and __ac_password are the defaults). It will sniff for them on the next request and log the user in if they match a user (and you are not logged in through basic auth). > What do I call the > username and password text box form elements on my page? This is also configure in CC (defaults to login_form). Normally this would be a separate login only form where users are redirected on unauthorized. CC will handle redirecting the user back to the URL they came from. You can make this go to your home page if you like, but that will probably confuse users of the site. hth, -Casey

I created the cookie crumbler instance and indeed the login form says that I've successfully logged in, however it's not exactly what I want here. I need to use my own login page, not CC's default login page. Mine is actually the index_html with a form element in it. Where do I point that form so that it calls to CC's authentication properly? What do I call the username and password text box form elements on my page? How do I make it go to the members folder upon successfully authing? Hi all, I have a problem importing a zexp from Zope 2.5.1 to Zope 2.6.2 (on Win NT). I have this message: Error Type: System Error Error Value: Failed to import class atoi from module App.Product. Envoking Zope's security manually?

What is the proper way to validate zope's security in an unrestricted script? ...object = make a request object and wrap the root zope object... result = object.aq_acquire(methodName) if not AccessControl.getSecurityManager().validate(object, None, methodName, result): raise Exception('Unauthorised:' + methodName) I know this should be close to what is should be. But what about an objects properties, and accessing their __str__ and __call__ type methods. Is there a formal way of envoking Zope's security? DTML (unicode) does not work for me.

I am trying to develop Unicode web pages, with variable names substituted in using the DTML technology. Key Error

Hello. Zope is flagging me with a 'Key Error' when I try to execute the following code. <dtml-let numberDegrees="REQUEST.get('numberDegrees')"> <dtml-in "_.range(0, _.int(numberDegrees), 1)"> <dtml-let degree_description="REQUEST.form['degree_description_<dtml-var sequence-item>']"> </dtml-let> </dtml-in> </dtml-let> The variables designated by degree_description_<dtml-var sequence-item> are being successfully passed into this DTML method from a DTML document. However, I don't know any other way of accessing them within the loop. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. - Asad
