Hi I would like to call script (the one called 'Script (python)', it should manage the properties of a Folder) from another that have a proxy of Manager My guess was that in this way the first one would be executed with Manager role, but actually I was wrong... it complain that I'm not "allowed to access 'manage_changeProperties' in this context" Am I doing something weird, or is this the way it should work? P.S. the same (first) script, called on the same Folder object whe the authenticated user is the owner of the Folder, works thanks massimo

Displaying SQL results correctly

Hi I'm extracting content from a database which contains several numbers for example 72, 354. Each number is separated by commas. The numbers correspond to other id's within the table. I'm using below which kind of works however the url is specified as http://157.228.32.93:9191/education/nug_db/detail_html?id=72,%20354 and i'm using below to get the results CourseLike is the field which corrospond to other ID's - 72, 354 CourseTitle is the course title <a href="" tal:define="CourseLike result/CourseLike" tal:attributes="href string:detail_html?id=$CourseLike" tal:content="result/CourseTitle" target="_blank"> <span tal:replace="result/CourseTitle">CourseTitle goes here</span></a> i'd like each id to be repeated separately rather than in the one long url. Any help appreciated. 'Unable to find binary "lynx.exe" ' when using Zope's find

I have migrated a Zope site from Linux to Windows, understanding that Zope is platform independent. Everything seems to have gone smoothly, with the exception of one glitch. Whenever I try to use the ZopeFind from the ZMI I get the following error: Error Type: MissingBinary Error Value: Unable to find binary "lynx.exe" Any ideas as to why the site would be dependent on lynx? I'd really like to fix this as it is a fairly large site and I rely on the ZMI's find feature quite often to find the location of scripts and PTs.

Database Connections

hi: With Psycopg I have noticed that if the DB server is restarted (or just the Database) that Psycopg does not re-connect very well to the DB. Is this a known problem or just on my end? I seem to remember my MySQL server conneciton doing the same back when I used MySQL. Thanks, Jason.

exUserFolder 0.50.0 no redirect

Hi, I installed Zope 2.7.3 and exUserFolder 0.50.0. I get the login scrren, but when logged in, I am not redirected to my original page, but instead /acl_users (which of course has no index_html which means I get the Zope tutorial from my root). How do I make exUserFolder to redirect me to my original page? Renaming File Before Download

In one of the web apps I'm working on, users upload files into a LocalFS directory. The python upload script renames the files so that the files name is unique, and based on the corresponding unique ID of it's metadata in my database. Though now when people download the files they have names like 14201.pdf instead of the original filename. Is there a way I can rename the file back to it's original name (stored in the db) upon download? -- David

Samuele, Yup, use an "Access Rule". Basically, create a python script that has the logic you need (Read cookie value, set HTTP_ACCEPT_LANGUAGE as needed). Then just set that python script as an access rule in the root of your site. This is assuming you use the PlacelessTranslationService. If you use Localizer, the same idea should be applicable, although I don't think it uses HTTP_ACCEPT_LANGUAGE to determine language?) For instance. I have 2 access rules, one in the root of each folder for each language, here's one: request = container.REQUEST request.set('HTTP_ACCEPT_LANGUAGE', 'en') In your case, because language is determined not by the URL path, but by a cookie, just alter the code to read the cookie, and put it in the root of your site, and that should do it!
