hi everyone; I recently became interested in using the Bitpass micropayment system to sell access to some content on one of my web sites, and spent about a week developing a Zope implementation of the Bitpass gateway file -- this is a script you install on your server to enable use of the Bitpass service. Anyway, I've got a substantial amount of work done in implementing a python version of their gateway but I'm about to start a new job and will be too overloaded to continue working on it. If anyone else is interested in using the Bitpass service, and has some time to help finish up the coding, I can email you a tarball with the work I've got done so far. Perhaps we can collaborate to complete it? I think this could be a really valuable product for the Zope community. Davis

Locked Out

Greetings all, Having done a stupid thing and experimenting with user authentication, I have managed to lock myself out of the folder controlled by a PostgreSQL User Folder. I can access the top level (because it uses standard Zope authentication) but everytime I try to access the sub-folder with the above acl_users, it tells me it is forbidden. Is there a way for myself to bypass the lower-level security so as I can remove this acl_users folder and reinstate it. I've tried the Undo option to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Ok...thank god I know where to look. A quick search turned up the following cookbook document that solved my problem: http://www.zopelabs.com/cookbook/1054240694 Given my lack of experience in Python, I think it might be high time to consider some deeper self-teaching on the subject because it would have helped me around this a lot sooner (and reduced the stress). installing CMF 2.4.1

Hi there! I have downloaded windows version of CMF 2.4.1 and used WinZip to unpack it. On the install info page http://cmf.zope.org/download/CMF-1.4.2/INSTALL.txt I read the following: "Note for Windows users: if you are using WinZip to unpack the file, be sure to disable the "TAR file smart CR/LF expansion" option (thanks to Frank McGeough for tracking down this problem!)" Now I wonder what this actually means? Or what I actually am told to do here? Is it something I shoul do in WinZip, or something I should do after I have unzipped the file? TALES Confusion

Hi List, I'm obviously missing something fundamental about how TALES expressions work - I can't get the simplest thing that works fine in a ZPT to work in a Formulator TALES expression. Example: - - In my ZPT, I'm using "user/getUserName", which works perfectly. - I'd now like to migrate this functionality to a Formulator form, and it seems to me that the above is a path expression, so "path:user/getUserName" or - since the docs a say that a path expression is the default - the original "user/getUserName" (Which I had understood /was/ a TALES expression) should work. No such luck - I just get variations on the theme of "Key Error" and "global not defined". I have now descended into that special hell of trying all the combinations and permutations, and have run out of options. restrictedTraverse doesn't give the good container

Hi, Today, I have this situation: Under my root Zope Site, I have this hierachy: - FolderA ---FolderB ----FolderC -----FolderC What is interesting is that a folder named "FolderC" appears under another folder named with the same name. Assuming the path is the good one (path=.../.../FolderB) I try : herenow = context.restrictedTraverse(path+'/FolderC') -> OK herenow = herenow.restrictedTraverse(path+'/FolderC') -> OK Now I just delete the last FolderC, I have: - FolderA ---FolderB ----FolderC I try : herenow = context.restrictedTraverse(path+'/FolderC') -> OK herenow = herenow.restrictedTraverse(path+'/FolderC') -> OK BUT here I'm just not where I think to be, just because of the acquisition !!! "Empty or invalid id specified" when trying to add a new product

Hi All, I've created a simple product, but I cant add it to folder. DTML in index_html

I've tried to put a DTML standard header into index_html but it doesn't access it. Have I done something wrong? -- John
