Hi, at http://aspn.activestate.com/ASPN/Mail/Message/zope-Dev/1054345 I found a hint that Ordered Folder version 0.5.1 is needed but at http://zope.org/Members/srichter/Products/OrderedFolder the version counter only goes to 0.4. An inclusion into upstream Zope was mentioned at this page, but I found no pointer whether this is just done. If yes how could this be used (and why is the later page not updated to give a hint)? Kind regards Andreas.

Hi All My name is Shane. I am Completely New to Zope and Plone (Sorry). I have my Plone Site Up and minor Customization complete, at this point I am wanting to Create a Plone Document that Returns the result of a SQL Query. I Simply can't figure out how to make this work, I feel like I must be missing the Obvious. I have a working Z SQL Method that returns as simple Query. From the ZMI the Test tab looks exactly as I would Expect, but how to translate into PLONE? I have 2 full days invested of trying to figure this out. I have found many How-to s but just cant get them to work for me. The Z Sql Method is located at /Plone/testodbc/testsqlmethod The Page Template is at /Plone/testodbc/allpcs I have been programming in various lang/scripts for 8 years... it is frustrating being a Newbie again... Script timeout

I want to export about 13000 records from zope db to text file. But after reading about 7000 it stops and browser shows the message that site not found etc. When I use other database with fewer records (about 10000), it works well. Is the script timing out? If yes then, is there any way to set the time out period of a script? Using Zope Management or inside script? Problem uploading file through a form with Internet Explorer

Hi, I have a problem uploading files through a form with Internet Explorer (Opera, Mozilla work fine). I am doing following stuff: I've got a webpage with something like: <form action="uploadPhoto" method="post" enctype="multipart/form-data"> <input type="file" name="file" maxlength="1000000" accept="image/*"> <input value="submit"> </form> uploadPhoto is a DTML document which has following code to process the uploaded data: <dtml-if "_.getattr(file,'filename') != ''"> <dtml-call expr="aq_parent.manage_addProduct['Photo'].manage_addPhoto(_.getattr(file,'filename'),'A photo',file,store='ExtImage',pregen=1)"> </dtml-if> It works perfectly as long as I use Mozilla (both under Linux and Windows) or Opera (tested only under Windows), but as soon as I try to use Internet Explorer Zope returns an error message saying that there are characters not allowed in URLs. Uploading photos from the management interface works perfectly. I would be greatful if anyone could suggest a solution for this problem or explain it to me. It's a big mistery to me. Prb using os.system in product

I'm trying to call a PHP file from python using os.system(), but it always returns -1 (the PHP script is executed, output piped to a new file). The command works from the command line, it also works in the os.system call when running Python interactively. I've also tried something as simple as "touch /path/to/newfile": works in interactive mode, not from Zope. The directory it's writing to has world-writable permissions (777) for testing. I also tried using os.popen to get the output without sending to a file, but the command "f = os.popen( php_cmd)" always returns the EAGAIN os error code. I appreciate any help. Michael

Changing key in dictionary

Hi, Is there a way to change the key itself of a dictionary. For instance: items={'the first': [], 'the second': []} Now at a certain time I want to change the 'the first' in something else. Is there a 'rename' method? Sorry for being ingorant but I couldn't find in the documentation or on the net. I want to mimic the rename function in Zope. thanks, Henny
