Java class doesn't load correctly under windows

Hi, I'm trying to programatically load a java class file to a folder on the Zope DB called 'JMFiles' during the initialization of a Product called JMColorPicker. It works under linux, but on windows 2000 the applet isn't showed and I got an error on the java console which says: Error loading class: ColorPicker java.lang.ClassFormatError Then I tried to manually load the applet class file on the ZMI and it worked. Printing the filesystem path reveals that it is correctly separated with "\". But, some how, manage_addFile corrupts the file on Windows. The code is attached to the message. Does somebody knows what the error could be? 'nt_svcutils' does not exist

struggling a bit with querying a catalog

This snippet works: zcat=context.litcatalog results=zcat({'query' : '/habraken/documenten/dftest','level' : 0}) return results Can I combine this (path index query) query with a ZCTextIndex with searches for a certain phrasein a certain field? If so, can any point to the right syntax? Henny

Possible dictionary bug?

Hi all I try these code in a Python Script: A = dict() A['Example'] = 1 return A.update({'DoesItWorks': 'Perhaps'}) In the python interpreter it works fine but in the python script returns None Can anyone reproduce the problem? Thanks!!!!!

Developement and Production Site synchronization

Yo zopistas... How do you all manage your code? The Zope versioning thingy is not good! If got a backup site, I need to keep in sync was thinking of using it as developement, and then releaseing to production by tar /opt/zope and untaring into the zope directory... Is this a good Idea? Are there better ways? any Ideas will be gratefully read! Jerry

IOError: [Errno 9] Bad file descriptor

I have an external method that uses reportlab to make The method takes one argument, a Databse key, does a lookup of the database record for that key and then makes a PDF file using reportlab and writes it to the local HD of the zope server. The method works well outside of Zope, but called from Zope, it only works every second time (exactly). The first call will work, but the second will fail with: Error Type: IOError Error Value: [Errno 9] Bad file descriptor then the third call work work, etc. - any ideas? - Zope 2.7.0 on windows 2000 Server.

Debugging Script (Python) - where is the traceback?

I'm embarrassed to ask such a simple question, but I've done searches and I've looked through the Zope Book and the Zope Wiki, but still cannot find this. I have a Script (Python). When I call it from DTML, I get the following: Error Type: RuntimeError Error Value: Script (Python) get_size has errors. Where does Zope write the traceback to? I have "debug-mode on" in my etc/zope.conf, but that does not seem to make a difference. Or does it, and I just do not know where to look? Thanks for help. ZServerHTTPResponse instance has no attribute 'SetHeader'

Hi, I found the following snippet of pythonscript in a howto. document=context.thesqlquery() container.REQUEST.RESPONSE.SetHeader('content-type','application/pdf') return document[0].Test10 The idea is fetching an PDF document from an MySQL database. But I get the error: ZServerHTTPResponse instance has no attribute 'SetHeader' Any ideas? Henny
