I saw some messages a while back about providing single sign-on to an NT network for a Zope-based intranet, using NTLM for IIS or mod_ntlm for Apache. Anyone have any experience of making this work? Are there any likely problems? Thanks Anthony

How to give a hyperlink to the ZCatalog Search Results?

Hi, I have made a ZCatalog which catalogs the files on the basis of their Id and title. After passing the search parameters to the report form I get the desired results in form of Id, Title and URL of the object. URL Pathing.

hi, If I have http://www.foo.com/ShoppingCart/addItem and it returns: container.aq_parrent.myZPT(REQUEST=REQUEST) I end up with the URL: http://www.foo.com/ShoppingCart/myZPT even though myZPT exists in the parent folder (http://www.foo.com/myZPT) My problem is if people keep adding things to the cart I end up with www.foo.com/ShoppingCart/ShoppingCart/myZPT. I don't want that. It keeps recursing and getting longer. Show how can I return a ZPT object and hot have the URL be nonsensical? Must I do a redirection? Why can't I just return? Thanks, Jason.

Using tal:attributes with a python script

I have the following line of code: <font color="" tal:define="actStatus result/Active_Inactive" tal:attributes="color python:here.statChk(actStatus)"> .... I am trying to pass the value that is in actStatus into the statChk script. I am changing the font color based on what is returned by the script. The script works because in place of actStatus I used the strings that would give me the necessary results. So, it is just a matter of how I am supposed to pass the parameter without confusing the color attribute. Thanks.

Broke my Zope with external editor

Silly mistake... I hit Restart on my Zope control panel while I still had something open in an external editor session. Now I cannot restart Zope, and it is not logging anything. Is there a lock I need to clear, where do I look and how can I tell what is stopping the service from restarting ? Thanx -- Les Ferguson Software developer Waitakere, NZ

I am new to Zope. I have a folder tree of PDF documents. The documents are location and division specific. IE: a lot hold pdf will contain the same field data but will display different logos or text depending on the location. A form may also be generic. given this folder structure PDFforms DavidBernard Rottlund MN WI IA FL In these folders are PDF documents.
