formatting tuple to feed to mysql

I'm have a tuple that I want to pass to a zSQL query to so I can based on items in the tuple. I get the sequence from a zSQL query that selects a single field, and I'm postprocessing it with the following: <dtml-let SelectedIDs="[ai[0] for ai in queries.selectDOdocIDs().tuples()]"> Which puts the sequence in brackets like this: [211, 873, 515, 516, 589] but mysql seems to want them in parenthesis... because when I try this select ThemeWords.* from DocThemes, ThemeWords where DocThemes.DocID in <dtml-var SelectedIDs> and DocThemes.ThemeID = ThemeWords.ID I get a KeyError. Also, is it possible to pass a list using dtml-sqlvar? thanks -- David

GetObjects FilterFolder everywhere

Hi everybody... I like obtain content(objects) of a FilterFolder I create (background/images_bank) from a zpt call everywhere . I try with function objectValues, but it can't access to objects if it isn't called in correctly site(container background/images_bank). How can i do it without calling to the catalog? Zope stops responding on hpux

Dear list-members I am desperately trying to get our zope application run on hpux, and any help is greatly appreciated. I have the following problem: When I click on a tal-object ("Page Template") to edit it, then zope stops responding. No error is logged, nothing. I even cannot stop zope anymore with "zopectl stop" or control-c if started with runzope. It seems that zope silently crashes... However, I can create a tal-object, it only happens when I try to edit. Specifically, how do i make sure that the query that zope passes on to the underlying RDBMS is in utf-8 ?? problem with ZODB

Hello Everyone.. I have been a silent member of the list mostly.. There is a slight problem that needs to be addressed rather urgently... The thing is that though unicode strings can be input and retrieved into the database through Zope.. For example, for the table EMPLOYEE<emp_id, first_name, last_name, salary> the query select * from EMPLOYEE where emp_id = 3 (some number) works but select * from EMPLOYEE where first_name= 'some unicode string' doesn't work... I'd appreciate some input on this.. --JV.

Is it possible to extend Zopes WebDAV authentication?

Hello! I'd like a little help, please :) I have a site that uses PluggableUserFolders for its acl_users. The web-based portion of the login process locks out a user after 3 unsuccessfull attempts at the password and i'd like to be able to do something similar for users who try to connect via WebDAV. I'm sure something like this should be possible but am uncertain where to begin. Is it possible to override the authentication methods used by WebDAV? If so what are those methods? I'd be grateful for any help and insight into this problem! Many thanks, Mark

Find a object in a zope list

I have a fold and I used objectValues['Image'] to make a array list of images. I have rename each image using AUTHENTICATED_pic.jpg and want to use an if statement to find the image with the same name in the array list. Can someone tell how??
