Problem with zopectl debug

ImportError: cannot import name InitializeClass >>> I created my instance by compiling Zope-2.9.8-final and restoring the Data.fs from a repozo backup. The directory /var/zope/zope-prensa is where the "real" instance use to be. However for development and debuging I set up my working instance in my home. Any ideas? Best regards, Manuel.

Yes, I know it is ugly and I would like to use python instead, but as I said before I can't use the email module of python since the Machine were the page is hosted isn't administrated by me, so, there isn't any change of allowing or installing a python module.

BTW, we have related those unnecessary commits to CMFQuestions, an old plone product now superseded by PloneSurveys... We came to that not by inspecting the code, but by realizing there were too many conflicts related with CMFQuestionnaire. We removed it, and the commits vanished. Best regards, Manuel.

default-zpublisher-encoding and zpt encoding

default-zpublisher-encoding in zope.conf seems not to work in zope 2.7.9, the server response don't set any charset. While: <head tal:define="dummy python:request.RESPONSE.setHeader('Content-Type','text/html;; charset=ISO-8859-1')"> works, and the characters are displayed ok. But I cannot modify all the templates around and I'm looking for a general solution. The problem is to replicate a 2.6 Zope (run with -L it_IT) with 2.7.9. Zope 2.6 returns: Content-Type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1 while Zope 2.7.9 returns: Content-Type: text/html Here the zope.conf part (default-zpublisher-encoding is ok, default_zpublisher_encoding don't exists in zopeschema.xml): ====== # Directive: locale # # Description: # Enable locale (internationalization) support by supplying a locale # name to be used. See your operating system documentation for locale # information specific to your system. Authentication after proxy

I have put the Zope server behind a reverse proxy using ssl. I think I have some of the Apache certificate problems solved. Zope asks me to authenticate once after accepting the ssl cert. But then it asks me to authenticate again and there are more certs to be accepted. I'm sure this is a common enough situation: Zope behind Apache rewrite rules on the target server that all lives behind a proxy server, all using ssl. EpozDocument with single quote and double quote

Hi, It is nightmare for me pasting a content that i copy from MS Word or Notepad inside the EpozDocument if the content has single quote or double quote. It will display the error below and complain about the title but when i remove the quote or re-type it from the keyboard it will not display the error. Please i want to know if somebody has ecperienced this and it was resolved. Thanks. Kamal Site Error An error was encountered while publishing this resource. Zope under vmware is too slow

Dear all, I must install zope under vmware, but there are big speed degradation over plain machine. Does somebody have some tip&tricks to run Zope under VMware faster? Many thanks, J. Lukesh
