Hi, I'm trying to use an external method and limit the size of my query result to an Active Directory server. def searchUsers(base): i_ldap = ldap.open('####', ###) i_ldap.simple_bind_s('cn=###,cn=Users,dc=rpn,dc=ch','###') result = i_ldap.search_ext_s(base,ldap.SCOPE_SUBTREE,'sn=*',sizelimit=5) return result I know AD MaxPageSize is 1000 but the result is always: SIZELIMIT_EXCEEDED Valeur de l'erreur {'desc': 'Size limit exceeded', 'info': ''} I tried to use directly openldap 2.1.21-1: ldapsearch -W -x -z 5 -b "dc=rpn,dc=ch" -D "cn=###,cn=Users,dc=rpn,dc=ch" -h ### -p ### But the problem is the same, I've got a SIZELIMIT_EXEEDED after 5 users in the result... Any idea?

I fixed it in all my catalogs, and we haven't noticed it anymore (read: nobody has told me yet if it does still happen), I also stopped using caching as the headaches involved didn't gain me much. Fixing my bone-headed code turned out more noticable speedups than anything else. start up errors due to ExtensionClass module

can anyone help?? My Extension class files are in /home/beatrix/Zope-2.6.2-linux2-x86/lib/Components .... in the ExtensionClass directory I've then got a build dir with the corresponding built files in it.... should these be in another place? Only 200 products at zope.org?

Dear Zope Zopistas, I have found that your new site have only 200 products instead of much bigger: http://zope.org/Products/all_products?batch_size%3Aint%3Arequired=999 And see that full listing (not updated from august) http://old.zope.org/Products/all_products?batch_size%3Aint%3Arequired=999 Same situation is with Zope howtos. etcUserFolder

I was wondering if any one has had any luck using the etcUserFolder product for Zope or if there is a better more uptodate user authentication alternative. I am runing Zope 2.6.2 and have not had any luck getting it to work. I set the etc option to /etc/passwd to test it out and it didn't work. I made a copy of a different passwd (without shadow passwords) and linked to it and had no sucsess. I also tried copying the file into the products folder and that didn't work either. any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks -matthew

Zope and chunked Transfer-Encoding problem

Hello ppl, Could anyone tell me whether Zope 2.5.1 supports Transfer-Encoding: chunked feauture of HTTP/1.1 for handling client request, such as sending a decent amount of data, e.g. file upload? I get Bad Request error with response code 400. I am pretty confident about the request correctness itself. Thanks, A.Z.

storages comparation

Hi, here we are planning to migrate our webs from apache to zope. My question is about alternate storages to de default all_in_one_big_file. For the last year I'm been using zope with no problems for some small parts of our web, but from time to time I see a message on the list about unrecoverable corrupted storages ... and that makes me very nervous. I would like to hear about experiences with other storages. I'm specially concerned with: * fiability * tools to recover corrupted databases * tools for backup * support for objects, undo ... versions are not important Performance and scalability is not important here.
