Hello, I uploaded a visio file to the web. When I want to open it, I have to login to Zope. Why ? All Word-or Powerpointfiles open without logging in. Can somebody help me with this? Is is an IE problem or a property in Plone that I have to change? Thanks in advance for your help.

ldap_search_ext_s...
by Patrick Gelin 21 Oct '03

Hi, I'm trying to use an external method and limit the size of my query result to an Active Directory server. def searchUsers(base): i_ldap = ldap.open('####', ###) i_ldap.simple_bind_s('cn=###,cn=Users,dc=rpn,dc=ch','###') result = i_ldap.search_ext_s(base,ldap.SCOPE_SUBTREE,'sn=*',sizelimit=5) return result I know AD MaxPageSize is 1000 but the result is always: SIZELIMIT_EXCEEDED Valeur de l'erreur {'desc': 'Size limit exceeded', 'info': ''} I tried to use directly openldap 2.1.21-1: ldapsearch -W -x -z 5 -b "dc=rpn,dc=ch" -D "cn=###,cn=Users,dc=rpn,dc=ch" -h ### -p ### But the problem is the same, I've got a SIZELIMIT_EXEEDED after 5 users in the result... Any idea?

RE: [Zope] Invalidate RAM cahce manager programatically
by Jim Kutter 21 Oct '03

I fixed it in all my catalogs, and we haven't noticed it anymore (read: nobody has told me yet if it does still happen), I also stopped using caching as the headaches involved didn't gain me much. Fixing my bone-headed code turned out more noticable speedups than anything else. Thanks for the help though! -jim -----Original Message----- From: Chris Withers [mailto:chrisw@nipltd.com] Sent: Tue 10/21/2003 6:30 AM To: Jim Kutter Cc: zope(a)zope.org Subject: Re: [Zope] Invalidate RAM cahce manager programatically Jim Kutter wrote: > I do this for almost all other "content types" we have here with little > or no change. Could that goof with the "is not 0" be the cause for the > uncatalog issue? Could be... what happens when you fix it? Chris

can anyone help?? My Extension class files are in /home/beatrix/Zope-2.6.2-linux2-x86/lib/Components .... in the ExtensionClass directory I've then got a build dir with the corresponding built files in it.... should these be in another place? Only 200 products at zope.org?
by Jaroslav Lukesh 21 Oct '03

21 Oct '03

Dear Zope Zopistas, I have found that your new site have only 200 products instead of much bigger: http://zope.org/Products/all_products?batch_size%3Aint%3Arequired=999 And see that full listing (not updated from august) http://old.zope.org/Products/all_products?batch_size%3Aint%3Arequired=999 Same situation is with Zope howtos. Would you like to correct them, please? Links as I show you is very usefull for product/howto searching and are very usefull because you have all products nice at single page. Many thanks, J. Lukesh

etcUserFolder
by Matthew Thorley 21 Oct '03

21 Oct '03

I was wondering if any one has had any luck using the etcUserFolder product for Zope or if there is a better more uptodate user authentication alternative. I am runing Zope 2.6.2 and have not had any luck getting it to work. I set the etc option to /etc/passwd to test it out and it didn't work. I made a copy of a different passwd (without shadow passwords) and linked to it and had no sucsess. I also tried copying the file into the products folder and that didn't work either. any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks -matthew

Zope and chunked Transfer-Encoding problem
by Anton Zubenko 21 Oct '03

21 Oct '03

Hello ppl, Could anyone tell me whether Zope 2.5.1 supports Transfer-Encoding: chunked feauture of HTTP/1.1 for handling client request, such as sending a decent amount of data, e.g. file upload? I get Bad Request error with response code 400. I am pretty confident about the request correctness itself. Thanks, A.Z.
