Lost connection to MySQL server during query

We're getting several ZMySQLDA exceptions in our logs right before one of our ZEO clients locks up. press on checkbox execute python script

Hi, When the checkbox is selected I want to execute the Python script getSelection. The id of the file should then be added to myList for further processing. The ballad of Zope and FreeBSD

I tried all that was currently available. Installed latest ports, tried building Python from source with the mem stack size patch, and also reduced Zope's threads to two (as the previous step to make it single threaded). But Zope@FreeBSD continued to leak memory. Then I realized that it used to happen everytime I opened a management screen where a LocalFS object was going to be showed at the left frame, manage_menu, which is generated by dtml-tree. A glimpse to my windows mirror installation showed no problem at rendering that page (though at the price of twice the regular memory usage during the task), but FreeBSD seemed not to do the job at all. Now I expect fewer Zope&Python crashes, but as I'm not completely sure, I think I'm still in the struggle. Has anyone found a *final solution*? :) Ausum

Hello, if I try to access a object without sufficient permissions cookie crumbler redirects me to my login page with these parameters: http://[...]/login.zpt?came_from=http%3A//[...]/secret.zpt&retry=&disable_cookie_login__=1 If I enter a wrong password retry is iterated: http://[...]/login.zpt?came_from=http%3A//[...]/secret.zpt&retry=1&disable_cookie_login__=1 http://[...]/login.zpt?came_from=http%3A//[...]/secret.zpt&retry=2&disable_cookie_login__=1 ... I want to render a HTML-Code only if retry has a value. Sounds easy, but somehow I didn't get. Localizer and Python 2.2.2

Hi there, just tried to use Localizer here with the following setup: Zope Version (Zope 2.7.0-b2, python 2.2.2, linux2) Python Version 2.2.2 (#1, Feb 24 2003, 11:44:35) [GCC 3.2.1] System Platform linux2 Creating a LocalFolder and trying to access it will give me the dreaded: The object at http://www.newtech.fi:8080/Newtech2/test2 has an empty or missing docstring. Objects must have a docstring to be published. Is it me, the Localizer or python ? I also tried with an older version of Zope and exactly the same thing happened. I'm trying to speed up parts of our site, and I want to use cache managers (no sense rendering the same results over and over if they don't change often), but my editor wants to have changes go live immediately. I have python scripts that pull SQL results, and displays them nicely. What I want is when my editor inserts/edits/deletes an item, the script knows to refresh. Otherwise that item remains until the script gets too old in the cache. Zope Catalog Problem??

Hi, I have noticed that the dates for cataloged folderish types is not accurate. Specifically, the CMFPhotoAlbum dates that show up in the Catalog are wrong. I need for the 'modified' date or the 'ModificationDate' to be accurate. The weird part is that viewing the information in the ZMI shows the Last Modified date accurately. Please help. This has been driving me and my users crazy because my users publish and change photos and albums and the sorted list is all wrong. Invalidate RAM cahce manager programatically

Is it possible to invalidate the whole RAM cache manager programatically? For that matter, how would I invalidate just one entry as the result of a form action? -jim
