How big is the biggest known Zope Web Site ?

How big is the biggest known Zope Web Site ? 'How big' means to me things like : How many concurrent visitors at a time ? Internet bandwidth ? Database size ? Number of physical servers/processors ? Another question of big interest to my current project : Is Zope suitable to manage a 'transactional' web site? I mean a web site where each different visitor gets pages with different content. Thanks for every answer !

But ZPT is better when you give pages back to your designer with default configuration of their WYSIWYG editor (is possible to edit <a href="<dtml-var some>">text</a> in properly configured frontpage 2k without destroying! But in FP-XP is some things impossible) JL.

zope 2.7 with python 2.3

I have the simple question: Why not? zope 2.7 is said to be based on python 2.2, but wouldn't it be nicer to base it on python 2.3, so the coming zope 3 and the zope 2.7 would share this big issue (backporting, and..) Stephan

question about rewriting and vhm

Hello Zopers, i have a problem with a rewriting i use... at first i had authorization errors, so i ended up using VHM... i'm using zope behind apache, so my webserver takes care of the virtualhosting. i use apache also for static hosting of files, like images and logos... so i placed my zope in a rewritten directory called z... so if i open //somehost.com/z/ it opens my zope sites and with //somehost.com/ i can access imagery served by apache the problem is that all my a hrefs containing ./ are not automatically rewritten to ./z/ or /z/. is it possible to make this work? have tried rewriting it, but did not succeed... this is my apache rewriterule.... Using RegEx in Script(Python)

Hi, I wanted to know if the above can be done? What I need is a function that replaces every character of a string, that is not in [a-zA-Z1-9] with an underscore. I want to use this to automatically create an Object-Id from a title, to create a new Object. If this is not possible directly within a Script(Python), can it be done using an ExternalMethod? I suppose yes. Andreas -- You'll be called to a post requiring ability in handling groups of people.
