Epoz & relative links
by Sébastien Georget 27 Jun '03

27 Jun '03

Hi, I'm trying to edit a document with epoz which contains some internal links. If I create a relative link to anchor A and save the document, there are no problems. If I reload the document to make some modifications and save it again, my link becomes an absolute link (which is wrong since my edit_form is different from my view_form). This can be reproduced on the demo site. Is there a way to prevent epoz from converting relative uri ? Sébastien Georget http://purl.org/NET/Georget/Sebastien

import error
by Aleksandra Imogen Ivir 27 Jun '03

Might someone know a solution to my problem (short of recreating the entire site manually)... I have exported a ZMS (v.116g) site from a Zope 2.6.0 instance - Zope Version (Zope 2.6.0 (binary release, python 2.1, win32-x86), python 2.1.3, win32), Python Version 2.1.3 (#35, Apr 8 2002, 17:47:50) [MSC 32 bit (Intel)] - but receive the following error message when trying to import it into a Zope 2.5.1 running on Suse 8.1 Linux with the same revision of ZMS: Zope Error Zope has encountered an error while publishing this resource. Error Type: SystemError Error Value: Failed to import class _extra from module Products.PluginIndexes.TextIndex.Vocabulary I'd be greatful for any suggestions on how to transfer the existing content. sequence items and multiple selection boxes
by David Siedband 27 Jun '03

27 Jun '03

I've got a DTML form page where people can update the locations that are covered by an environmental project. I have a multiple selection HTML form element that I am populating with the results of an SQL query that retuerns the complete list of locations. I have another query that returns a list of locations that are already associated with a specific project. What I'd like to do is iterate through all the places and add the SELECTED property to those that are already entered for a specific project. What I have in mind is something like. <dtml-in "queries.getPlacesAll()"> <dtml-in "queries.getPlacesForHypothesis()" prefix=obj> <option value="<dtml-var PLID>" <dtml-if "PlaceID in (??????)"> selected </dtml-if>><dtml-var PlaceName></option> </dtml-in> </dtml-in> Suggestions? thanks, David

Weird Problem with Script(Python)
by Andreas Pakulat 27 Jun '03

27 Jun '03

Hi, I've got a Script(Python) which is a method of a ZClass, now if I call this script using an instance of the ZClass I get: Error Type: IndexError Error Value: string index out of range The script is called from a form, which set's some variables in the request. The script itself also has parameters which default to None and then checks if they are set, so that these settings override the request-variables. Anyway, even If I comment out the whole code I get this weird error. Here is the PageTemplate snippet containing the form. How can I track down this problem? I really have no Idea how to get to the point where this Error comes from <form method="POST" action="vergeben" tal:attributes="action string:Arbeiten/${request/arbeit}/vergeben" tal:condition="python:Attribute.getProperty('Status') == 'zu vergeben'"> <input type="hidden" name="DestinationUrl" value="index_html" tal:attributes="value python:here.absolute_url()"> <table border="0"> <tr> <td><span class="Arbeit">Name des Studenten:</span></td> <td><input size="40" type="text" name="Studentname" value=""></td> </tr> <tr> <td><span class="Arbeit">Email des Studenten:</span> </td> <td><input size="50" type="text" name="Studentemail" value=""> </tr> </table> <input type="submit" name="Vergeben" value="Arbeit vergeben"> </form> Sorry for the german text, but I don't think that it is a problem. RE: [Zope] bug in catalog?
by sean.upton＠uniontrib.com 26 Jun '03

Are you moving CatalogAware objects and not re-indexing it? What is likely happening is that you are moving an object, (perhaps) indexing it at its old location, but not unindexing it from its old location. This means that the "brain" object in the catalog exists, but when you call getObject() it returns None. This only happens when the catalog cannot traverse to an object at the path referenced in the Catalog. POSKeyError after versioning...
by Garikoitz Araolaza 26 Jun '03

26 Jun '03

After some unfortunate versioning, packing and deleting the old Data.fs file (Yes, it couldn't be worse), I found myself with a corrupted Data.fs file with a POSKeyError inside a folder. There seems to be a corrupted object somewhere. I get the Error Value (and I can get the 'oid' too). Any working direction in order to get rid of this object? ( An easy way to copy objects and paste them in a new Data.fs? isn't it what packing does? Thanks in advance (once again and again) :-) Gari _________________________________________ Garikoitz Araolaza gari(a)eibar.org
