Can anyone tell my why my * Filesystem Directory View folder is losing it's skinspath every time i restart zope. When i instance new directory view it works fine. After a restart the path is still set correctly but the directory view is empty.* createDirectoryView ( self, 'lib/python/Products/MyProduct/skins', id='skins' ) registerDirectory('skins', globals())

How to get an object in a folder using its id!!!!

Hi... It may seem to be a new bie question... I am trying to get the items which are in published state in folder_delete.py.... Have anybody done this already... otherwise can someone help on this.... I have list of ids....I want to get objects of those ids.....so that i can check for their review_state.... can't use new mime type (content_type)

Hello, I'm having problems with uploaded files not getting their content_type set to their correct mime type. Specifically, .jar and .jnlp files. I added entries to mimetypes.py for them (application/x-jar and application/x-java-jnlp-file) in mimetypes.types_map. I can now change the content_type property of an existing File object to these new types. However, when uploading a file, OFS.Image first correctly gets the content_type when init() calls get_content_type, but then manage_upload resets it to application/octet-stream. During this second round of get_content_type, it finds a content_type of application/octet-stream in the file's headers. Where does this come from? Not the file itself, but the File object? repository with revisions and verson control

Hi, I'm working on project where the implementation of some kind of repository for various types of documents is necessary. The main features to implement for this repository are: - version control: - history - reviewing - undoing changes - rolling back to any revision - immediate (read only) acces to every revision - files locking Each change made to a single document should be writen as a single revision for this object only (CVS like bechaviour) and where rollbacks and locking must be possible for each, single object where is possible. The repository will work through independent interface created in project and not through ZMI. I'm relatively new in Zope and Python. I understood the general concept of ZODB and it's long transactions (which seems to be a base for repository like projects). I've checked OFSP and it's Version support... nice idea but unfortunately I'll need to create a private sesion for each accesed document... it does't looks like solution rather like workaround. Also the project seems a bit abandoned (vide http://dev.zope.org/Wikis/DevSite/Projects/ZopeVersionControl/CurrentStatus) The concept of my project is closer to CVS like system than to one presented in OFSP. I'm strongly determined to implementy this in clean Zope/ZODB. I don't want to loose the benefits of object database (i'll loose it in CVS solutions) because in future the features like ZOE and e.g. DirectoryStorage will be very handy for me. Is there a way to implement such thing in easier way than writing the support for using ZODB transtactions in project from scratch? Thanks very much to Alexis Roda for this one. Problem solved. For anyone else who gets the same problem, it seemed to be with the installation (or lack of it) of win32com for Zope. The solution I used was based on: http://effbot.org/zone/python-register.htm Although I didn't follow those instructions exactly, it did give me the registry keys to change, then re-install win32com, making it install for the Zope python, rather than the stand-alone Python. leave application in zpt + formulator

hi i had downloaded leave.zexp from the following url http://www.openflow.it/EN/Download/index_html I have installded open flow 1.1.0 i have plone,zope on ,my linux box. Now i tried to rewrite the application using zpt + formulator(originally written in dtml). I have written the following zpt files 1)leave_startform_zpt 2)leave_start_zpt & a macro leaveform_macro for leave_startform_zpt file. Now my program goes like this leave_startform_zpt --> macros --> leave_start_zpt --> gotoOF (this is a python file), Plz see the files in the attachemnt. user registration

hi i have a small problem. i have plone installed in my linux box(rh8). I also have some folders in the plone root drectory. Every forlder has its own user folder (acl_users). Now when a user registers with my plone site he is put into the users folder (acl_users) present in the plone root folder.
