Well, that was lovely. Set PATH_INFO to "preserve" and my PHP stops working. Definately not the solution. PHP must run, so back to square one... *sigh* Anyone? Maybe pcgi is not the way to go? This should be simplicity itself but I've read and re-read what the Zope book has to say on this and I don't understand... <img src="../images/ldmlMenu_01.png" width="170" height="2" border="0" tal:attributes="src here/images/ldmlMenu_01.png"> should, if my understanding is correct, replace the src attribute for the image with the path defined by the tal:attributes statement. My understanding is wrong because I get: <img src="<img src="http://127.0.0.1:8080/ldml/images/ldmlMenu_01.png" alt="" title="" height="2" width="170" border="0" />" width="170" height="2" border="0"> To put this in context, this snippet is contained in a format file which is included in a number of other files. Not knowing better I've used the construct: <div id="menuMain" tal:replace="structure here/main_menu"> ...placeholder code... </div> to include this although I understand that I should use Macros to include this. I'll change this shortly. It looks as if... No I wont embarrass myself further. Would someone explain what's going on here and where my understanding is wrong. what's the difference between metal:block and tal:block?

I'm not understanding when to use either. I sometimes see a tal:block nested in a metal:block, and sometimes the either way, or sometimes just one of the two. What's the difference between them? TIA, Gerry

Lookup parent folder URL and title?

Hi *, Fairly simple question, in DTML I want to display a hyperlink on every page to navigate up one directory in my site, which should display the parent folder's title_or_id and absolute URL. eg. <a href="&dtml-absolute_url;">parent title_or_id</a> I'm not having much luck any help would be appreciated. Clarification regarding acl_user

Hi I am finding problem in controlling the user list in open flow. Hoe to access the acl_user folder placed in the root directory from a sub directory. I have a code which fetches me the user present in the same directory. But I need to access the user present in the acl_user folder in the root directory. I am using a user account which is created in the root directory . Hence i assume that i have the permission to access the contents of acl_user folder in the root directory. looking forward for a quick reply. Harish. SMS using the Yahoo!
