Lose 32 pounds by February

Hello ! If you're like me, you've tried EVERYTHING to lose weight. I know how you feel - the special diets, miracle pills, and fancy exercise equipment never helped me lose a pound either. It seemed like the harder I tried, the bigger I got, until I heard about a product called Power Diet Plus. You're probably thinking to yourself, "Oh geez, not another miracle diet pill!" Like you, I was skeptical at first, but my sister swore it helped her lose 23 pounds in just two weeks, so I told her I'd give it a shot. I mean, there was nothing to lose except a lot of weight! Let me tell you, it was the best decision I've ever made. Period. Six months later, as I'm writing this message to you, I've gone from 355 pounds to 210 pounds, and I haven't changed my exercise routine or diet at all. Yes, I still eat pizza, and lots of it! I was so happy with the results that I contacted the manufacturer and got permission to resell it - at a BIG discount. I want to help other people lose weight like I did, because it does so much for your self-esteem, not to mention your health. I give you my personal pledge that Power Diet Plus absolutely WILL WORK FOR YOU. If it doesn't, you can return it any time for a full refund. If you are frustrated with trying other products, not having any success, and just not getting the results you were promised, then I recommend the only product that worked for me - POWER DIET PLUS. You're probably asking yourself, "Ok, so how does this stuff actually work?" Power Diet Plus contains Lipotropic fat burners which are scientifically proven to increase metabolism and cause rapid weight loss. No "hocus pocus" in these pills - just RESULTS, RESULTS, RESULTS!! Here is the bottom line ... I can help you lose 10-15 pounds per week naturally, without exercising and without having to eat rice cakes all day. Just try it for one month - there's nothing to lose, and everything to gain. You will lose weight fast - GUARANTEED. That is my pledge to you. The Goblins of Zope
by Redding, Matthew 13 Jan '03

13 Jan '03

Hmm, Had an odd problem with scripts the other day. It was not writing to the session correctly, despite using the RESUEST.SESSION.set('blah') thing. I restarted the server...and it worked. Now I have the problem I have detailed in my message with the subject "[Zope] Script writing to session: bizarre result or just a mistake?"(posted earlier today). I am pretty sure I have not made a mistake. What could go wrong? It is a bloody simple script. It does not work. I a beggining to think I have a bad install, and need to re-install (this begins to seem more likely than the next options). Matt Redding -----Original Message----- From: beno [mailto:zope@thewebsons.com] Sent: Monday, 13 January 2003 11:22 AM To: zope(a)zope.org Subject: [Zope] The Goblins of Zope Hi; Anyone else had weird, inexplicable things happen with your Zope? Here's a couple of horror stories of mine. I'd love to hear yours. What inspired this post was something that happened tonight. I was playing around with a very simple script when I kept running into errors: Can't convert an integer into a string; Can't convert a string into an integer; etc. I *knew* there wasn't a problem with my script. After a futile hour of trying to track down the *problem*, I decided to copy a perfectly good and currently functioning script, giving it a different name and passing the variables like I do to its parent. Sure enough, I ran into the same errors! Why?! My worst nightmare happened a couple of weeks ago. I decided to rebuild my file structure into something more portable. I had placed a number of scripts and old DTML methods in the root. I decided to copy them all into a folder, add the folder to each of my sites, and put the new folder into each site's path. Simple, right? What could possibly go wrong? Well, I forget the exact errors Zope threw at me, but it was all utter nonsense. I finally decided I'd just restart the sucker. I mean, why not? Bad, bad idea. I couldn't restart it. Worse yet, I ended up having to reinstall Zope. When I went to open my old Data.fs file, the goblins had secretly returned it to the exact state it was in at my last backup...two weeks before! How???? How could it have possibly known?! Also, if you happen to know a good exorsict, please let me know <g> beno _______________________________________________ Zope maillist - Zope(a)zope.org http://lists.zope.org/mailman/listinfo/zope ** No cross posts or HTML encoding! ** (Related lists - http://lists.zope.org/mailman/listinfo/zope-announce http://lists.zope.org/mailman/listinfo/zope-dev ) ********************************DISCLAIMER**************************** The information contained in the above e-mail message or messages (which includes any attachments) is confidential and may be legally privileged. basic question about uploading docs
by gebser＠ameritech.net 13 Jan '03

13 Jan '03

We're looking for a way to collect documents from different authors and put them all on the same website and in a way so they all look basically the same (colors, layout, etc.). Is this possible to do with zope? If so, how to do it? Would zope be able to preprocess the html already in the docs? Just trying to make a decision. Thanks.

RE: [Zope] ZODB Replication
by sean.upton＠uniontrib.com 12 Jan '03

12 Jan '03

Perhaps you could be clearer about your use case? Do you mean replication for high-availability, for backup? Or do you need to sync objects between 2 Zopes? I'm supposing you mean the former; in that case, options are: - Commercial Product from Zope Corp: Zope Replication Services (ZRS) - this replicates above the storage level, and is conceptually really nice (I think storage-agnostic, which would definitely have a benefit in certain cases), but it comes with a cost. - Replicate the storage itself: I like this approach because it is free (LGPL), but it does require more work and verification to get it working. I would suggest considering DirectoryStorage for this; it scales well, has replication and incremental backup tools, and you can use standard Unix command line tools (cpio over NFS, etc) to replicate stuff. http://dirstorage.sf.net - Other low-tech solutions of replicating below the storage (network RAID, distributed block devices, rsync). (in Zope 2.6?) if not, any suggestions on how to replicate Zope Objs? Calling a File from an External Method
by beno 12 Jan '03

12 Jan '03

Hi; I'm calling a function with a file name from an external method. I need to pass a variable to the method, so I have a line like this: <dtml-var expr="externalMethod('file')"> but the error comes back thus: IOError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: 'file' when said file does indeed exist in the same directory as the DTML Method and also the External Method. What have I done wrong? TIA, beno

RE: [Zope] Default ZClass constructor not working? (was: re: Zope .org feedba ck)
by Leeuw van der, Tim 12 Jan '03

12 Jan '03

Hi, I was following the 'Howto build a simple ZClass' howto. I didn't change anything with permissions. When this constructor didn't work, I copied and pasted a Python Script constructor from the HOWTO, which is appearantly what Zope 2.6 generates. I renamed the original constructor, created a new Python Script the constructor name, and copied the script from the webpage. That worked, without changing any permissions, and created for me the new ZClass instance. It even created the new ZCatalog instance inside, as it was supposed to. So the constructor code was definately executed, no errors, no permissions changed for anything. Does that help, or does that make it a bigger problem? Regards, --Tim -----Original Message----- From: Dieter Maurer [mailto:dieter@handshake.de] Sent: zaterdag 11 januari 2003 19:52 To: Leeuw van der, Tim Cc: kedai(a)kedai.com.my; zope(a)zope.org Subject: Re: [Zope] Default ZClass constructor not working? Zope sometimes converts "Unauthorized" into "KeyError"s (I am astonished that you get a "NameError"). Check the "Permission" tab of your ZClass. It "Create instances" mapped correctly? Dieter
