I have a problem with my Page Template: I want the visitors to have the opportunity to get one level up. In my product I have a field that is called 'level_up_txt'. If this field is filled in I want to use that, but when they leave the field empty they have to get a levelup icon. How can I arrange this in TAL? I've tried it like this: <a class="gnawlink" href="" tal:attributes="href container/absolute_url" tal:content="container/level_up_txt"> <img src="icon" width="16" height="16" border="0" alt="item" tal:attributes="src here/upfolder; alt here/meta_type" /></a> Where upfolder is the icon that I want to use. How to concatenate variables

Hi, I am having problems concatenating variables. I have seven pull down menus. Selecting one from each menu will create a part number. I setup a test to see if this would work. I have one dtml doc with the menus. After a submit it calls this dtml doc: <form name="form1" method="post" action=""> <dtml-let pn="' ' "> <dtml-call concat_sub_type_to_part_num(st1,sub_type2)> <dtml-var st1>st1<dtml-var sub_type2>st2 <dtml-var expr="pn==st1+sub_type2"> <dtml-var pn> pn </dtml-let> </form> I call a python script concat_sub_type_to_part_num and pass two of the menu selections in this test. I tried to concat there but no luck. I can only see the variables I passed. the python script is: # Example code: # Import a standard function, and get the HTML request and response objects. pn=st1 + sub_type2 return pn Again any examples would be great, and thanks in advance. Q: filtering search results by checkPermission?

Hi, I'm trying to filter a search results list to remove documents which the current user doesn't have permission to view. I wrote a python script which tries to do just that. I call checkPermission('View', x.absolute_url) for every element in a doFormSearch result list, but it doesn't quite work. Passing variables from Python

Hi, I must be blind in one and can't see out the other. OpenOffice-Doc Import (zipped xml Import)

Hi, I just experimented a bit with OpenOffice1.0 documents to import into Zope. With zipfolder it is possible to unpack the packed xml-files. But they are stored as file-metatype documents like "content.xml" etc. and it is not possible to open them. If the extension is changed to "content.txt" its possible to view the raw text-content without the xml-tags. Does anybody know a simple solution to import zipped xml-files and keep the structure, tags and maybe filter unnecessary tags and docdescriptions? This would be a nice way of importing content into zope without dealing with html etc. Thanks for any hints, Elena

Hi ! I'm new on the list and I'm also new in zope. It is also my first time trying to get help from any mailing list. I'm trying to set up a dynamic page using zope and firebird and I'm stuck! So far I managed to set-up everything by my self. I get pcgi error when I'm trying to insert simple data into table. Is there anyone who can help? Thanks Ivan
