Zope for Solaris 2.5.1

Hello: I'm trying to install zope on a Solaris 2.5.1 Sparc machine, from source code. I installed Python 2.1.1 for that machine, but when executing the installation script (w_pcgi.py) it ends with an error: cannot load libgcc_s.so.1 I'm using gcc 2.95.3, but, maybe I should use gcc 3.0 to avoid this problem? I'm desperate, as I need Zope running soon, but I can't solve this problem. Any ideas? Thanks, Gregorio.

manage_addImage from python

converting to an object

Hi, I'm setting up a navigation system. My path: http:\\server\folder1\folder2\document What is want is a listing of folders and topics contained in folder1. My dtml: <dtml-let nav3="_.string.split(URL0,'/')[3]"> <dtml-with nav3 only> <dtml-in expr="objectValues(['Portal Folder', 'Portal Topic'])" skip_unauthorized> <p><dtml-var id> </dtml-in> </dtml-with> </dtml-let> However this gives me an error, 'objectValues' is not defined. in REQUEST, nav3 is 'folder1', and what I want is just folder1, no quotes. When I substitute folder1 for nav3, it works fine. Any thoughts? TIA - Scott

where does zLOG get the time it records?

Lines printed to my stupidFileLogger (debug.log) have the time indicated about 4 hours later than my machine is set for. Yet, the INFO messages for the server starting up show the correct time. 2001-10-23T01:59:09 INFO(0) ZServer HTTP server started at Mon Oct 22 21:59:09 2001 Anyone know what I'd have to change to make the time stamp be in the time zone I want? That is, this instead? 2001-10-22T21:59:09 INFO(0) ZServer HTTP server started at Mon Oct 22 21:59:09 2001 Thanks, Lynn

Could it be that you're in a timezone 4 hours ahead of UTC/GMT? container id

Can anybody help with a problem I'm having. I've just started using Zope and I'm developing a reasonably simple intranet. The point at which I'm having problems is trying to write a dynamic navigation bar. I have a dtml method called from my standard header which will display certain blocks of dtml dependent on the id of the containing folder. This works fine when the documents are contained in a one folder system, but I have a folder with sub-folders and I would like to be able to display some dtml based on the main folders id. Sure thats clear but hoping for a response so..... Reformatting <dtml-tree>

Very simple, you'd think.. How does one insert an extra (blank) row in a dtml tree, based on a change of property value? Alternatively, how does one alter a value originally defined in a dtml let statement? I'm wanting to group items in the tree, visually.
