When I am editing an ZSQL Method and I click on the 'Advanced' tab I get this response: Error Type: ImportError Error Value: No module named POPMailBase Traceback (innermost last): File D:\Zope\23229D~1.3\lib\python\ZPublisher\Publish.py, line 223, in publish_module File D:\Zope\23229D~1.3\lib\python\ZPublisher\Publish.py, line 187, in publish File D:\Zope\23229D~1.3\lib\python\Zope\__init__.py, line 221, in zpublisher_exception_hook (Object: insertintolists) File D:\Zope\23229D~1.3\lib\python\ZPublisher\Publish.py, line 171, in publish File D:\Zope\23229D~1.3\lib\python\ZPublisher\mapply.py, line 160, in mapply (Object: manage_advancedForm) File D:\Zope\23229D~1.3\lib\python\ZPublisher\Publish.py, line 112, in call_object (Object: manage_advancedForm) File D:\Zope\23229D~1.3\lib\python\Shared\DC\Scripts\Bindings.py, line 324, in __call__ (Object: manage_advancedForm) File D:\Zope\23229D~1.3\lib\python\Shared\DC\Scripts\Bindings.py, line 354, in _bindAndExec (Object: manage_advancedForm) File D:\Zope\23229D~1.3\lib\python\App\special_dtml.py, line 236, in _exec (Object: manage_advancedForm) File D:\Zope\23229D~1.3\lib\python\Shared\DC\ZRDB\DA.py, line 544, in manage_product_zclass_info (Object: insertintolists) File D:\Zope\23229D~1.3\lib\python\ZODB\Connection.py, line 533, in setstate ImportError: (see above) POPMailBase is a completely different Product that I removed a few days ago. RE: [Zope] Oracle Stored Procedures
by Ernst Eeldert 10 Aug '01

Ricardo, first off all, stop sending HTML messages to this list. Thanks. Basically, the ZOracle Stored Procedure object returns a list containing the OUT parameters of your procedure. So when you have a Oracle Procedure like: procedure test ( p_claim_id in varchar2 ,p_cursor out cur_general ,p_error_code out number ); calling the ZOracle Stored Procedure (ZSP) from DTML will return a list containing 2 items. The first will contain a DCO2 cursor object, the second item will be the numeric errorcode. In DTML, you can use the cursor just like from python, as long as you put it into an expression. Example: <dtml-in expr="spTest()[0].fetchall()"> <li><dtml-var expr="_['sequence-item'][0]> </dtml-in> This will print a list with the values of the first column of each row. It could be that the syntax of the dtml-var tag could be less hairy, but I just started using Zope, and I know this syntax works for me. If a stored Procedure get a result set in a query and I want to pass this resul set as output from my ZSP how do I do it? How can I do it in Zope. I saw some examples in Python by I don't know how to do it from zope. TIA Ricardo

Folder Access
by mixo 10 Aug '01

Does Zope have a feature which allows users who have rights to ceratin folders to login at say "http;//zopehost:port/manage", and then open up all the folders they have rights to. What I would like to avoid is having to tell users that since they have rights to the folder1 and folder2, to be able to access these folders, they have to go to "http://zopehost:port/folder1/manage" for folder1 and "http://zopehost:port/folder2/manage" for folder2. Also, I would to avoid going the "virtual host route" . Mixo

Thus it will be necessary to make your error message more than 512 characters long to have it displayed by IE5. Both servers have the same products installed. I found the same question in this mailing list a few times, but no answers. Tom

Hi, I've got a problem trying to display a standard_error_message. It works fine in Netscape, but when it is forced in IE, the following *IE Error Screen* appears: -+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ The page cannot be displayed There is a problem with the page you are trying to reach and it cannot be displayed. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please try the following: Open the freezope1.nipltd.net home page, and then look for links to the information you want. Click the Refresh button, or try again later. Click Search to look for information on the Internet. You can also see a list of related sites. HTTP 500 - Internal server error Internet Explorer -+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ I don't remember this happening before, so can anyone tell me why it is happening now? Could it possibly be the way my browser is setup? - Best regards, Lee Reilly
