I'm getting the following ERROR: 2001-08-09T14:52:47 ERROR(200) ZODB Couldn't load state for '\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x02\xa4\xbc' Traceback (innermost last): File /usr/local/zope-2.4.0/lib/python/ZODB/Connection.py, line 519, in setstate AttributeError: 'None' object has no attribute 'load' I found in the list archives where I could find the offending object, so I did: >>> import Zope >>> app = Zope.app() >>> ob = app._p_jar['\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x02\xa4\xbc'] >>> print ob.id broken >>> print ob.__class__ <extension class Products.CoreSessionTracking.SessionDataContainer.SessionDataContainerMount at 816b9b8> So, what does this mean and what am I supposed to do with this information? Thanks! _______________________ Ron Bickers Logic Etc, Inc.

RE: [Zope] Help with expr

Hi Todd, I've never tried to use a limit (yet) but the dtml-in syntax includes an 'end=n' (<dtml-in get_story end=5>) parameter that may do what you want (I'm not sure what it does :). If that doesn't work, check out the Zope Book for details on DTML in. Also, if your "get_story" list is generated from a SQL, it will likely be more efficient to let the SQL call limit the results so that Zope doesn't have to. send email using python script
by Norman Khine 09 Aug '01

Hi, I have this python script, from www.zopelabs.com, I've called this script mail, then I have a dtml form which takes different variables from the user, like their email, name, checkbox and codes in the enquire_dtml. How do I pass these variables through to the mail python script? What are the performance issues of using the same form, but instead of using python script to use the <dtml-sendmail> tag? Help with expr
by Todd Loomis 09 Aug '01

All: I'm trying to use the following code: <dtml-in get_story> <dtml-if expr="ZopeTime(end).strftime('%m/%d/%y') > ZopeTime().strftime('%m/%d/%y') and ZopeTime(start).strftime('%m/%d/%y') <= ZopeTime().strftime('%m/%d/%y')"> <dtml-var title> </dtml-if> </dtml-in> I'm using a sql method get_story, then my if statement should be if the end is greater than today's date and if start is less than or equal to today's date show the title. However it does the both of them seperate rather that together and I'm getting the wring records. How can I join the statements so both have to be true to get results? Hi all, I have some troubles using Z SQL Methods under Zope 2.4. I already encountered this problem in latest releases of Zope... what is the difference between the two? all i want is to hide http://zope.foo.com:8080/bar into http://www.foo.com i tried apache mod_rewrite and it somehow worked. it just automatically creates a <base href> is that it? essentially, what i want to do is this: we have two domains http://www.foo.com and http://www.bar.com both of them reside in one server in one zope instance. they are just on different folders. how do i make http://www.foo.com point to http://zope.server.com:8080/foo as the root and http://www.bar.com point to http://zope.server.com:8080/bar as the root? but i don't want the server name of zope.server.com:8080 to come out but the domain names themselves. thank you so much! Zope/Python Users Group (Washington DC, USA): Tues Aug 21st
by Joel Burton 09 Aug '01

09 Aug '01

The Zope/Python Users Group (held in Washington, DC USA) is holding our third sell-out meeting. Our first hour (Zope stuff) features the fine folks from ZopeCorp; our second hour (Python-o-rama) features Python & Zope guru Andreas Yung. Our meetings are open to everyone, regardless of their knowledge of Python & Zope. The meetings are a great place for networking with Zopistas and Pythoneers, learning about implementing Zope, and picking up rumors about upcoming products and changes. The meeting is held at the Support Center of Washington (Directions at scw.org/about/directions) on Tuesday, August 21, from 7pm to 9pm. Light refreshments are provided at the meeting; for more serious refreshments, we're heading out to a local pub afterwards. For info about zpug, or to join our mailing list, please visit http://zpug.org. -- Joel Burton <jburton(a)scw.org> Director of Information Systems, Support Center of Washington

by Frederic Quin 09 Aug '01

Hi, I added a User Folder in a folder. I created a new role using the "Security" tab of my current folder and changed the permissions of this folder. Then, nobody was able to access parent folders, which were not concerned by my last operation... Frederic
