If the browser uses HTTP 1.1, then you may use the new HTTP 1.1 response code that allows you to specify unmistakenly that you want the redirection be handled as a GET request. HTTP/1.0 browsers, however, will not understand these response codes. I think, "REQUEST.environ['SERVER_PROTOCOL']" will tell you, what HTTP version is used. Dieter

Try: context.foo.absolute_url() or getattr(context,'foo').absolute_url() > _['foo'].absolute_url() > _.getitem('foo').absolute_url() Are you sure the namespace variable is bound? In many case, you will get an empty namespace. If your namespace is not empty, then the code above should work. Dieter

Squishdot Question (not Problem)
by complaw＠hal-pc.org 06 Mar '01

This is a squishdot question that may have an answer involving general technique (so that is why I'm using this forum). I am running three separate Squishdot sites (great program, really caught on in my law firm). The sites are for Intellectual Property, E-Commerce, and CyberLaw. Each site is separate because it caters to a different group of people, although there are some people viewing more than one site. While much of the content is dissimilar, there is some overlap. The question that I have is can you have one posting to a Squishdot site be posted to multiple sites? Thanks in advance, Ron

I have a propblem with mailhost. I created one called "mailer". I have then made a simple form/reply pair to send an e-mail. When I use them from localhost it works nicely like:: http://localhost:8080/some_path/form http://localhost:8080/some_path/reply But when I use them like:: http://www.myurl.dk:8080/some_path/form http://www.myurl.dk:8080/some_path/reply I get an error:: Error Type: KeyError Error Value: mailer Anybody's got a clue as to why? Hi, I am searching for an easy way to upgrade some thirty squishdot sites from version 0.3.2 to 0.7.3. The reason behind all this is that I want to migrate an existing site frome Zope 2.1.6. to Zope 2.2.2. I exported my site from 2.1.6 and imported it in 2.2.2. Then, I tried to be clever and copied all items in the root folder of a newly installed squisdot site (with version 0.7.3) to replace the content of an old 0.3.2-site (residing now in my new Zope install 2.2.2.). Well, it did not work out. Can anybody give me a clue how to go about this upgrade? I tried some idea's, but to no avail. I had a similar problem. Also, try restarting zope to force it to reread the access file. I'm sure zope is consistent in how it reads these files, but I haven't read up on it. -----Original Message----- From: Jo San [mailto:cyberwombat@yifan.net] Sent: Tuesday, March 06, 2001 10:58 AM To: Zope Mailing List; kentj Subject: RE: [Zope] logging on to Zope First Time I suspect from your input that the domain might be restricted.
