What are some steps to actually add a user? Or am I supposed to be reading the source? :) Thanks, Alex. 1010011010101001101010100110101010011010 0 Digital Garage 1 Alexander Schonfeld 0 alex(a)garage.co.jp - pear - 03-5454-7219 1 http://www.coolest.com/

Problems with FastCGI
by Itamar Shtull-Trauring 15 May '00

Most of the time, FastCGI works fine. However, every few page views in a while it returns the following error page (I'm copying the page's source). Notice the HTTP headers were printed in the error page - FastCGI apparently mistakenly thought they were part of the actual content: HTTP/1.1 200 OK Date: Sun, 14 May 2000 07:26:23 GMT Server: Apache/1.3.11 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.5.0 OpenSSL/0.9.4 mod_fastcgi/2.2.3-SNAP-Apr29-17.29 PHP/3.0.14 X-Powered-By: Zope (www.zope.org) Python (www.python.org) Content-Length: 6669 Connection: close Content-Type: text/html <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <TITLE>200 OK</TITLE> </HEAD><BODY> <H1>OK</H1> The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.<P> Please contact the server administrator, root@localhost and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.<P> More information about this error may be available in the server error log.<P> <HR> <ADDRESS>Apache/1.3.11 Server at www.example.com Port 80</ADDRESS> </BODY></HTML> and the logs say: [Sun May 14 02:26:20 2000] [error] [client 212.29.231.2] FastCGI: comm with server "/Services/www/website/zope" aborted: protocol error: invalid version: 73 != FCGI_VERSION(1) [Sun May 14 02:26:23 2000] [error] [client 212.29.231.2] FastCGI: comm with server "/Services/www/website/zope" aborted: protocol error: invalid version: 110 != FCGI_VERSION(1) -- Itamar S.T. itamar(a)maxnm.com

Not needed because start script correctly set PYTHONHOME through 'cd reldir; pwd' and (after Zope instalation process) rest of the pathes are absolute pathes eg. #! /bin/sh reldir=`dirname $0` PYTHONHOME=`cd $reldir; pwd` export PYTHONHOME exec /home/adares/Zope/bin/python \ $PYTHONHOME/z2.py \ "$@" >Consult the script >In your start file, add '-Z var/zserver.pid' to the startup options, Yes but it does not work when admin will reboot machine. Hi, I looked at the docs, I viewed the source for Zope docs and everything suggests this should work. Yet it doesnt matter what value i use for size, it still prints all the results.. any ideas? <dtml-with "_(results = objectValues(['Press']))"> <dtml-in results size=2 sort=date reverse> <dtml-var summary_html> </dtml-in> </dtml-with> Thanks. compiling MySQLDA on Win98?
by tommy_b＠my-deja.com 14 May '00

14 May '00

Im trying to get ZOPE to interface with a MySQL database on my Win98se machine (tried Linux before, but the learning curve is too great :/). Its too bad MySQLDA 1.1.4 wont work on Win32. http://www.zope.com/Members/mordred/ZMySQLDA So Im forced to use 1.1.3. http://www.zope.com/Members/MikeP/ZMySQLDA But there is no mention what compiler to make the program, or any extra libs I should use. The HowTO skips this make step. http://www.zope.com/Members/philh/mysql Can someone give me, a non-C-programmer, idiot proof instructions how to get the MySQLDA up & running? I need to now everything I must d/l & run. Or the Win32 binaries would be nice :) cheers --== Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ ==-- Before you buy.

Q: Howto add Last-modified to the header?
by Christian Leutloff 14 May '00

14 May '00

Hi, I want to add a Last-modified line to the header. This line seams to work: <dtml-call "RESPONSE.setHeader('Last-Modified', '2000/05/14 13:15:45.0533 GMT+1')"> BUT how can I change the time, e.g. using <dtml-var bobobase_modification_time> The following line isnŽt working <dtml-call "RESPONSE.setHeader('Last-Modified', '<dtml-var bobobase_modification_time>')"> How can I expand <dtml-var bobobase_modification_time> to a string, that I can pass to the setHeader method call??
