Hello !!! Can we pass dtml-var to another dtml-var

Hi Every Body Is there any way to pass dtml-var value to another dtml-var for e.g <dtml-call "REQUEST.set('name1','bim_tiruchirapalli_admission')"> <dtml-call "REQUEST.set('name2','_[name1]'"> or <dtml-call "REQUEST.set('name1','bim_tiruchirapalli_admission')"> <dtml-call "REQUEST.set('name2',<dtml-var name2>"> and when i try to say <dtml-var name2> it is giving me an error so one could find solution for me Regards Manish -------------------------------------------------------------- QuantumLink Communications, Bombay, India

Zclass problem

Hello, i want to create an image object that show its content only if the user have enough "power" to see it. I've created a Zclass, added my power property and then changed the view method with this one: <dtml-var standard_html_header> ... check the power and then if ok... <dtml-call "propertysheets.view_image_or_file"> <dtml-var standard_html_footer> But it's not working, why? I would like to setup the index_html in the 'root' folder of the Zope server such that it automagically generates a nav bar with links to all of the subfolders. That way, if I have to add or remove subfolders (representing departments within the division), I don't have to modify any links manually. So, basically, the way I see it, is that the index_html would have to have a method that globs the IDs of the subfolders, then iterates through them, generating links on the fly. How would one accomplish this? (Assuming, of course, that it is feasible). Many thanks! - -- John R. Hi everybody. Here is a problem: I have a dictionary variable named D and a key (in D) named K. I know I can do the following: <dtml-var "D['K']"> and so on, but how can I change the value of D['K'] in a dtml tag ( something like <dtml-call "D['K']=value">)?

Zclass and subobjects

Hello, i create a zclass with the objectmanager base class selected. Then as subobjects i select image and folder. When i instance it i see that i can add only folders and images, but if i create a folder i can add whatever object i want in it. Why?
