I can't recall the exact order of events, but it does mean that WebFolders could not detect a WebDAV server. Is there a proxy or a firewall in between you machine and the Zope server? Or is the Zope server placed behind another web server (like Apache, IIS, or something). Then it is very likely that the OPTIONS request is filtered out before it reaches Zope. In the case of a proxy or firewall: Get it to pass your requests untouched, or bypass them completely. Hi! Do you use some kind of tool for planning and deploying a Zope Application, or even a Zope enabled site? UML? DFD? How do you maintain the code, and document the application? Upgrading Zope - Effect on Z Classes

Hello All, I'm trying to upgrade a Zope 2.0.1 site to 2.1.2. I used http://www.zope.org/Members/mcdonc/HowTos/zopeinstall/ZOPE-INSTALL-HOWTO <http://www.zope.org/Members/mcdonc/HowTos/zopeinstall/ZOPE-INSTALL-HOWTO> as a reference guide. Everything seems to have worked fine except for a Z class that I had previously created. I created a new product as described in http://www.zope.org/Members/lstaffor/zProperties <http://www.zope.org/Members/lstaffor/zProperties> After performing the upgrade, the product is no longer functional. As an alternate route, I tried exporting the product to a .zexp file. That worked fine, but I was then unable to import the file into the new Zope instance. Is there an upgrade path for Z Classes that I am as yet unaware of? I still consider myself a newbie. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for any help provided. -Mark

Zope on BSDI BSD/OS 3.1 ... help

Hello guys, I'm trying to use ZOPE on a virtual server BSDI BSD/OS 3.1 system. I'm having trouble building from the source and my ISP is not being very helpful. Does someone already made a binary for this platform? It would be a great thing to run zope on a virtual server (at least for me). But I could not find a ISP with such a supported service. Anyone knows of one? thanks

Attribute Error: tpc_begin

I'm trying to get ZSolidDA working. I had to make minor changes to sql.c and the Makefile to account for my Solid version 3 libs and includes. The compile went ok, and sql.so is importable and looks ok. Renderable Base Zclass

Hi, I'm desperately trying to understand how to make the CaptionedImage as an example to use Renderable Base ZClass. I just can't get it to work, because I don't really know how to start (me-is-really-new-to-Zope). So I add a product MyImage and add a ZClass to it. The ZClass subclasses Image and Renderable. I got that far. Could somebody explain how to continue? What i basically want is an ordinary Image (with the normal properties) + one extra: the caption, that gets rendered just below the image. I read the ZClass Guide, but the examples in there just don't apply to this one (it seems). Thanks, Jeroen
