Searching for a generalized key in ZSQL...

I'm trying to search an SQL table for a key=value where the user gets to select the key and the value. I have a select method on a DTML document to set the key and a text input to set the value, but I cannot successfully use them in the SQL without getting single quotes around them. select * from Users where  =  order by  And here's what I get: Error, exceptions.SyntaxError: unexpected token sequence.near :: "onald'\012order by"*" 'firstname'" ******************************* current state = 70 expects: 'numeric_literal', 'user_defined_name', ('nomatch1',) current token = ((-8, 'character_string_literal'), 'firstname') SQL used: select * from Users where 'firstname' = 'Donald' order by 'firstname' Any ideas? APACHE TIMEOUT

Friends of Zope, I am a newbie who is learning Zope! Recently I have started getting timeout errors running Zope with Apache. I'm sure the problem is correctable but I am not sure where to look for the problem. I can connect and query Zope once and then I am locked. If I run Xserver at the server everything appears ok. Any Ideas?? RedHat Linux 6.0 Apache Zope (most stable version)

FYI: Zope/Python activities at O'Reilly conference

Howdy all. I've put together a mini-page describing our activities at the upcoming O'Reilly conference: http://www.zope.org/Information/OReillyConferenceInfo Two main things to mention. First, I've lined up a solid panel for my "Joys and Pains of Building an Open Source Community" panel. The panelists are Eric Raymond, Guido van Rossum, Frank Willison, Dave Winer, and Deirdre Saoirse. The other thing is participation. This is both a golden opportunity to meet all the email addresses in our community, but also, a chance to prove the Python is doing well. Low attendence tells people that we are still emerging. A great turnout, however, says that Python is an exciting and growing project. Zope 2 behind IIS...?

Hi everyone, Has anyone had success with a setup running ZServer behind IIS? I want to do something like: IIS (port 80) <--> Zope2/ZServer (port 8080) If possible, I'd like to not have any special path visible in the URL (i.e. http://myhost.com/zope/ ... ) Does anyone know how to tell IIS to do this properly? The main reason I want to (if possible) set things up this way is that I want to be able to use SSL with Zope, and also use all of ZServer's special features but I want Zope to be invisible, if possible. I unfortunately cannot really choose _not_ to use NT, or IIS (believe me, I would rather pick a different solution!) manage_access: show permissions for a user

G'Day! How can I get to the source of "manage_access"? That's the link if you click on the security tab and does exactely what I want to do: Checking in DTML if user X has permission Y to access file Z. In my opinion, it should be something like:  but this call does not exist, and with manage_permission I can only change permissions, but not display them. Any help out there?
