- ZPyGreSQLDA errors when returning no rows

As the subject says, the ZPyGreSQLDA DA throws an error when the SQL query returns no rows. Is this to be expected? Do I need to write seperate DTML methods that handle that case? I was hoping to just get no objects returned, so my #in tags would execute their #else clauses. Ross -- Ross J. I noticed that DTML now has a sendmail tag. ZServer will bury or display tracebacks based upon the setting of the BOBO_DEBUG_MODE environment variable. Is there to have the best of both worlds and get the traceback mailed back to me, perhaps by the DTML processor instead of ZServer? BOBO_DEBUG_MODE=skip(a)mojam.com would be a nice way to introduce such an option (hint, hint). - Problem with multiple inputs

One of my search forms allows people to search using one or more keywords. If they select one keyword it's delivered as a string. If they select multiple keywords it's delivered as a list. In the search results page I want to generate a new search form that contains the input parameters from the search to make it easy to generate a related search. I currently have   <input type=hidden name="keywords" value="">   This fails if the user selected just a single keyword, since the keywords parameter is a string. Is there some clean way to work around this problem? The only thing I can see is something like   <input type=hidden name="keywords" value="">   <input type=hidden name="keywords" value="">    which fails because the builtin function type is apparently not available. I also tried using "_.type(...)" but that failed with an AttributeError (was that the correct syntax?). My short-term solution is to add a hidden parameter with a dummy value that guarantees if the user selects a keyword there will be at least two keywords, thus I'll get a list I can loop over with #in. I had a similar problem with Bobo and Zope, that Jim sent me fixes for. A cookie with two equal signs (I' don't think that's valid) would cause this error. I have the new Publish.py file available if you want it. - scripting acl_users

Hi again - I am trying to script acl_users to add Zope users according to form input, but am having a little trouble getting the DTML scripting right. Can anyone give me some advice on the following? I have no trouble making new users with the following: (I am generating sequential logins and storing it in a property of the folder, that's what last_new_login is; password_verify is just there since I name that field differently on my form than the Zope edit users page...)    This adds the new user to the parent folder's (in my case, the Zope root) acl_users  However, when I try to use a similar method to change user data:     ...I get an AttributeError in BoboPOS, as if that user doesn't exist. Is there a better way to do this (probably!) ? Can anyone give me an example of the right way to script acl_users changes? Thanks! --Brian Hooper
