throttling user requests

Is there a way to do in Zope what mod_throttle does for apache? I need a way to limit the speed at which requests can be sent from clueless users who keeps clicking the same link over and over thinking that it will make a page (one that takes a long time to generate) load faster. --Sean

You told me the layout wasn't optimal for Zope, but gave me a one-word clue that was so cryptic, I cannot figure out your point. I have not found any 'best practices', how-tos or any other guidance in the Zope books that clue me in to whatever it was that made you say it wasn't optimal. Zope Technical Solutions July 16-22, 2004 - Additional Session

Zope Corporation is pleased to announce the addition of a July 2004 Zope Technical Solutions session. It will be held July 19th through the 22nd at our Fredericksburg, VA headquarters. The "early bird" rate of $1,995 per person will be extended to July 16, 2004. After that, the rate increases to $2,495. This four day course will familiarize students with Zope software from introductory through advanced topics. We will demonstrate the flexibility and effectiveness of Zope as an Open Source web development and content management environment. We will also explore Zope architecture and provide hands-on exercises using Zope to develop and manage a robust web site. Thanks Ausum and Sergey. I rebuilt Python and so far no segfaults. I too would like to hear of any tips or tricks to improve Zope performance on FreeBSD, if anyone has any.
