Dieter, It's OK, I figured it out ... It's odd, once the leak stopped, the performance got worst. But it was partially due to me. I managed to make a variety of tweaks and changes that solved the problem, and it's running faster than ever now! While I've got your ear ... Is it possible to prefetch objects in the threads' object cache? So that instead of loading objects on demand, I could force the loading at start-up? I have some well know sets of objects that I'd like to have this done to, helping the startup time ... And possibly also allowing better indication of memeory usage. (It's a high traffic website with agressive caching, it can be slow after startup for a while, I'd like to see if that can improved). cannot access API reference

Product problems

Hi, I'm trying to build a custom Product using archetypes and so far I have been very successful. However, now I'm trying to set the vocabulary for one of the products to a DisplayList of all the objects of a particular type in my ZODB. The problem is I have no idea how to search for them. The code is here: http://authors.aspalliance.com/aylar/ViewPasteCode.aspx?PasteCodeID=2632 I'm using ZopeFind() but it is not returning anything. My guess is that I'm not using it correctly! WebDrive V6 (&5?) and Zope

Question: Is anyone using Webdrive V5 or V6 successfully with Zope? Either I'm missing something obvious or WebDrive V6 (and V5?) has become broken with Zope. Everything used to work for me with WebDrive V3 and V4. The following observations were made against Zope 2.7.0. The problem: You connect via WebDrive but you can't see any objects in the right hand pane of Windows Explorer. This happens for both anonymous and authenticated users (I even briefly granted the anonymous users every Zope permission - still no success). If you Show Monitor in WebDrive you see a problem: Connecting to http://zopebox.bris.ac.uk ... You would probably need to look into ZMySQLDA Database adapter and the MySQL-python database driver. Do a search under the zope.org and it should pull up some documentation. I believe they just posted a ZMySQLDA rpm on 5/12/04. I used these products for my connectivity. Also, the zopedb(a)zope.org is a better list when asking database questions. Is that the right way to accomplish that? It seems to work for everything else. Doesn't seem to work is defined as four hits to the same page (URL) by the same user gives the following in my statistics section: Path: /<plone_instance>/getAllowedTypes Hits: 0 Recent Hits: 0 Misses: 0 Memory: 0 Views: Entries: 0 Odd that it even mentions it?!?
