how to access data:text?

Hi, this is a pretty easy question I guess .. How can I access the "text attribute" of a DTML document (index_html) e.g. from DTML? In the HTML source I can see that it is referenced as "data:text". I could not find any pointers to approproate attribute of the DTML document object. thanks Oliver

I had this problem, and it is basically because the binding order of the network components is wrong. What you have to do is delete your DialUp adaptor, then reinstall it. At least, that's what I had to do. PCGI, Apache and Zope

After searching through the mailing list archives for everything with PCGI in the subject I've noticed that there have been a lot of mailings on this subject. A lot of them have come close to my problem and I have enthusiastically tried all the fixes that seemed relevant. Unfortunately nothing seems to have worked yet. Maybe I missed a vital step somewhere. The Problem Last week I had Zope 2.0.1 running fine using our existing Apache 1.3.3 server on Solaris 2.6. I was able to access everything ok and had got so far as running through the online tutorials. This week however it seems to have stopped working. Whenever I try to access Zope I get the error: Temporarily Unavailable The resource you requested is temporarily unavailable - please try again later. (102) failure during connect The rewrite rule in Apache is working. The var directory has full permissions. Other cgi scripts on the server, in the same cgi-bin directory, work correctly. I looked at the source for pcgifile and found that the error comes after pcgifile checks to see if the module path is a file. I notice from the mailing list archives that older versions of Zope produce a module path that points to a file. Is there a problem with my setup or a problem with pcgifile in this case? In case it's of interest, if I change the pcgifile code to check for a directory (so it passes this test) I get the following complaint: PCGI info file: /home/phelps/WWW/htdocs/cgi-bin/Zope.cgi PCGI wrapper: /home/mcewan/Zope/Zope/pcgi/pcgi-wrapper error attempting: 'from cgi_module_publisher import publish_module' status: FAILURE I checked to see if it works using ZServer and everything seems to work fine. I have a feeling that I've missed something really simple and obvious but I've been playing with this all day now and don't seem to be getting any closer to solving it. Can anyone help with this? Dear everybody, I have some questions want to ask you. How can i use Zope without online? If i haven't online first, the system give me some error message. The thing to remember is that once an object has been retrieved from another, you don't really have that object, you have a binary tree of wrappers connecting the object to its acquisition context. The binary tree is actually an ordered namespace stack. Anything you retrieve from the tree, will be bound as a new tree, one branch of which points to the previous tree, and the other pointing to what you retrieved. Of course, what you retrieved is itself a similar tree, repeatedly nesting back to the origin of the object on the one side, and the 'object itself' on the other. Hmmm. That would be much easier to explain with a whiteboard. Ah well. The tricky bit is when you start working with really deep acquistion hierarchies, because the trees begin to become fractal, that is, self-similar. (This is why there's lots of code in Acquisition.c to avoid needlessly re-searching common subtrees which have already been searched.) I suppose this all just goes to underscore the fact that Acquisition.c is a pretty heavy mojo. So never mind. :)
