structured text help

I am having a small problem with using structured text. Specifically I have a form with a text area form element that gathers entered text, i.e. <textarea name="body" cols=60 rows=5></textarea> and enters it along with some other arguments into an MySQL database using an sql method, like so : INSERT INTO announcements (announceID, course, timestamp, body, posted_by, date) VALUES (NULL, , NULL, , , ); I then display the text in another file like this :  I can get every structured text element to work (including *italics*, **bold**, _underlined_ etc...) but the paragraph and lists are not working. e.g. this text : - test - test will be rendered as : - test - test The carriage returns are being entered into the database, and are still here when I get the text out, but the fmt=structured-text doesn't seem to be recognizing the carriage returns or any of the list 'tags'. Project management tools written in Zope?

Does anyone out there know of any Zope-based project management tools? Or, for that matter, any open-source software that does project-management tasks? Stuff like: -tracking time estimates and actual hours logged on a project/task -tracking billing rates for different employees or kinds of work -tracking project phases and scheduling this has been mentioned as a major lack on another list I'm on (linuxchix), and i want to see if there's a Zope solution I can evangelize and/or recruit developers for. srl

database conversion troubles

Hello yall, Everyone was so helpful last time I had a prob... I hope someone can help with this one too. I recently upgraded our zope system to zope2, and converted the old dbase w/no prob... almost. There is one weird thing, and I'm not sure what to do. One of the sub-directories, in the management area, is acting funny. Let me explain. When I click on the directory, instead of giving me a list of the methods and such, it brings up the index page in the main frame. Very weird. It works fine on the old install (zope 1, uh, I guess). I don't know much zope, yet, but I HAVE tried exporting just the directory, like a million different ways, but it just don't wanna work for some reason. ANY suggestions or comments would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!! One more time, I'd like to thank the list for being here. I think its a great resource. I'm trying to get the use of zope popularized here, where I work, and if I can prove that there IS support, (albeit in a dif form than a 800 line or some such. Thank the lord) wore people will be willing to use it. stripping [] from a var

Hello! I have a form with a number of checkboxes (with the same name attribute). When the form is submitted I get a var in the form of: var = [checkboxvalue1, checkboxvalue2, checkboxvalue3....] I want to make a <dtml-in> loop (in a ZSQL method) using these as values. Incorrect content-type returned by ZServer

I have a Zope 2.0.1 application that is working pretty well except that one page is given the wrong content-type by ZServer. The page in question is a DTML document with CGI parameters. I wrote a debugging application in Java to trap the input and output between the browser and the server. GenericUserFolder authenticates but Zope rejects

Hi, I've set-up GUF on a sub-folder of a site. This is the initial stage of installation so I'm just testing that I can log in as jorge:secret. GUF authenticates jorge but I get a rejection by Zope saying I did not provide the correct username and password. Anonymous has no rights on the subfolder. So I allow Anonymous to have view rights: Zope rejects again saying I'm not authorized to access "title_or_id". What permissions have to be set?
