really really refresh?

I'm playing with zope2 and after using cvs I saw that the control_panel icon looked a bit odd so I copied the version from the a2 release. Pressed refresh, but still saw the odd image. Suspected caching in zope so restarted zope hit refresh, but still odd. Finally shut down netscape and the image got changed. How can I force a real refresh? -- Robin Becker

ZServer logging

I'm using ZServer and Apache+mod_pcgi. Everything works fine, but ZServer logs every PCGI access log: adding channel <PCGIChannel at 83f0bd8> log: closing channel 15:<PCGIChannel at 83f0bd8> How can I stop that ? -Petru

Zope on LinuxPPC--works fine

newbie here. i actually posted a couple weeks ago about getting zope running on Mac OS X Server. i never had any luck, but w/ a fresh install of the new LinuxPPC 5 release running i thought i'd try again. just in case anyone was interested, a build of 2.0.0a2 went w/o a hitch and is running w/o incident on a PowerMac 9600/200 through my experimentations today. LinuxPPC is still shipping w/ Python 1.5.1, so i had to upgrade to 1.5.2 first...but didn't have any problem w/ that either. DTML docs vs. methods problems with zserver/ftp

hi! i was wondering if someone had this problem as well: i have created a standard_html_header as a DTML method in zope-2.0 and then i have used zserver/ftp to read this file into my xemacs (via ange-ftp or efs or whatever) to edit it. when i save the file back to the zodb3 it ends up as a DTML document which is quite annoying because i want a "method" and not a "document" ... thilo

First, you should confirm that Zope is working properly by firing it up with one of several other webservers, Apache (Zap is the easiest), ZServer, or ZopeHTTPServer. Make sure you get Zope working perfectly before going off into the unknown. I'm assuming Zope can run a CGI script. If so, it needs to run Zope.cgi. Zeus needs to set an environment variable, it needs to take the 'HTTP Authorization' header and set it to the HTTP_AUTHORIZATION environment variable (for the CGI processes environment) *for each web request*. How Zeus runs CGI, or sets env variables, is beyond me.
