We are working with ZOPE and Macromedia Generator they work very well together. Generator is a graphics server package that is used with flash. All generator requires is a data set formatted a certain way. Zope is perfect for the Job. The only requirement we have found is that Zope and Generator need to be on the same server. Best of Luck! The real point of supporting an abstract data storage in Z2 is to let folks use a backing store that they feel comfortable with (as far as stability support, scalability, availability, etc.), rather than to try to integrate Zope into the relational (or even object/ relational) world. An OO-RDBMS map or ORDBMS capability for ZODB would be nice.
