SIMPLE QUESTION, How do you modify a sql values formatting? Example: Here is my page it accesses a SQL_METHOD named flash_method, It is pulling an item from ORACLE 8 that is set to the type NUMBER When ZOPE Publishes the data to this page specifically:  it reads 1.0 rather than 1 How do you convert an NUMBER to an INTEGER within the  TAG ? &&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&  _ID, "" _VID, "" _ACTIVE, "" _URL, "" _EVENT, "" _PHOTO, "" _DESC, "" _PRICE, ""  NO DATA FOR YOU!!!  &&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&& Thanks in advance! Hi Lindon, What I've done for a similar problem on my site is to use folder properties. I assign the root folder a property called "section" with a value of 0, meaning that the nav bar should be rendered normally. Each of the subfolders has the "section" property as well, but with a different value which overrides the 0. Then, all I have to do in my standard_header or standard_footer is test the value of var section and render appropriately. Acquisition is neat! Serving multiple Zope domains on Apache?

This issue has been discussed before, and at length, but I could find nothing conclusive in the archives. The problem seems to be Zope's handling of SCRIPT_NAME et al, and how you have to patch ZPublisher somehow to get URL rewriting working correctly. What's the status on this? I think the community -- including myself -- needs a definitive HOWTO on setting up serving of multiple domains with Apache, Zope, mod_rewrite, and mod_pcgi. How are the Zope hosting providers doing it? Is there a way to do it without patching Apache or Zope? ZCatalog and acquired objects

Hi, ZCatalog traverses the object hierarchy and indexes the content of objects, right? So (it seems to me that) objects that display content acquired from other objects won't be indexed correctly. For example, I got this situation: folder: show (DTML Method) 1 (TinyTable) 2 (TinyTable) 3 (TinyTable) 4 (TinyTable) 'show' displays the content of a TinyTable when called with 'folder/1/show'. Indexing 'show' with ZCatalog is useless because it doesn't contain any interesting data if it doesn't acquire a TinyTable. Indexing the TinyTables themselves is also useless because a find will then link to the TinyTable object, but I need to link to 'show'. So, is this true, or am I missing something? Is there a way to get around this? That way you should still have the distribution tab. Remember to also copy over any .py files in your Extensions directory that are used by external methods defined in the product. Hi list, I've taken a look through my saved mails, and through the documentation but I can't seem to find an answer to this(sorry if it's obvious to everyone): How do I pass a parameter to a DTML Method(or a DTML document for that matter)? What I want to do is set up a navigation bar once(in say a DTML Method at the root of the site), this allows the user to traverse to any area of the site, but it doesn't make much sense to traverse to the area you are already visiting, so I'd like to pass the current "area" in as a parameter and then use an #if test to enable/disable the navigation(HREF) part of the code. Could someone point me to documetation that outlines what each side of this looks like? Fixing a ZODB with timestamps in the future

Hi everyone, I have a Z ODB (version 2, running with 1.10.3) that got corrupted when something went wrong with my system clock, causing the Z ODB to get filled with a lot of time stamps which are stuck in the future. Is there an easy way to fix this? Do I need to go through all the records in the database and set the time backwards, or something like that? If someone has an easy way to deal with this, please let me know! --Brian
