Image.py modifications.

In my Zope 1 and Zope 2, i do a modification on the Image classes. I created a default property named border with the value 0 and when we call the __str__ function i put the 'border=0' inside the tag. I do that because i want to use the simple <a href></a> without getting terrible blue borders around my image. Zope Won't Start

I have just installed Zope in Redhat 5.2. As root, I typed "./install" Then "./start." In response I get : ZServers Medusa (V.10) started at Tue Sep 7 11:21:40 1999 Hostname : linux.workgroup Port: 8080 ...ZServer FTP server started at Tue Sep 7 11:21:40 19999 Autorizer: none Hostname: linux.workgroup Port: 8021 Zserver Monitor Server (V1.5) started on port 8900 Traceback(innermost last): File/"home/dckinder/download/Zope-2.0.0-linux2-x86/z2.py". line 494, in ? 18 Error: {Errno 131 Permission denied: '/home/dckinder/download/Zope-2.0.0-linux2-x86/var/Z2.pid' When I attempt to log on using either http://linux.workgroup:8080/manage ' or http://1.1.13:8080/manage I get a "The page cannot be displayed" response. Make sure that if you run Zope as root, that the user 'nobody' can read and write the /var directory. Logging out of the "manage"

I just installed Zope 2.0.0 on my win95 machine last night. First, a suggestion to put in the INSTALL.txt which would have saved me an hour of grief: My machine is connected to the internet via a cable modem, and the browser setup uses a proxy. Until I exempted localhost from the proxy list, I couldn't connect to http://localhost:8080/manage (it got a connection refused message, etc.). I logged onto the manage screen this morning from work, which worked just great, but, I found that there's no way to log out! I first tried this from a public computer at work, and really would like to tell my server that I logged out, so the next person won't stumble into it. Of course, I could Shutdown my server, which would mean that it wouldn't be running again until this evening. Is there a way to log out? Victor Miller
