Problems of using Navigator products

Hi, I am trying to use the Navigator product in a Zope server. I use the navigator_demo/simple_demo as a starting point. However, when I add a NavItem under the navbar, it seems that renderItem can not detect the new added items and nothing changed in the navigator bar. What is the right procedure to add a NavItem? Several people have been wondering what happened to the ZopeEdu mail list. >From the pieces that I have gathered, the server hosting the list appears to have lost its SMTP port. The admin is on vacation and the physical server is hundreds (and in some cases thousands) of kilometers away from any of the rest of us. So those of us that have been communicating via private E-Mail have decided to ride out the Y2K storm (this outage is no doubt due to a Y2K bug <smirk-giggle-gag>>. Actually, we have figured that not much is going to get done this weekend and are waiting until early next week to get things up and running again. If for some reason the list can not be brought back up on its existing site, we also have a backup plan. When things are back in order, we'll let you know right here. file upload to property, how to?

greetings. I have a property of type text. I want to be able to edit by uploading a text/html file into the property of a ZClass. I have it setup so that it is loaded from a file on installation (*addForm()), but to change it, the property management form only knows about textarea- or text-type input. I know how to do it in dtml, I could probably figure out how to do it in python... but, where do I do it? -- John Edstrom | edstrom @ slugo.hmsc.orst.edu
