ZServer port numbers under NT

Hi, <dtml-newbie magnitude="400%"> I downloaded Zope three days ago, and I have been playing with it for the last 70 hours in a row (is it addictive? :) Anyway, I downloaded the NT version and installed it as a system service. How can I bind it to a different port? For instance, on my linux box I modified the start script to use -P 0 so HTTP would be on port 80 and FTP on 21. Strange but true login behaviour

While others have complained about not being able to get authorised login access to Zope management functions, I have the opposite problem: it no longer requests authorisation no matter what. Does anyone have any ideas what may be causing this? Clue: (?) I was playing around with zpasswd to change the super user password to something a bit less cryptic and easier to remember. At first I couldn't get it to recognise the new password, and the old password didn't work either. So I shut down and restarted Zope, and changed the superuser password in the "access" file a couple more times. Some time during this process, Zope decided it was OK for an anonymous user to be a manager. I'm currently evaluating Zope for production use. I hope it's my stupidity and not Zope that's causing the problem. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. David Trudgett

ZOracle problems

Hello, I have a prooject that I have been working on for a short while and bugging people about. I have a problem with the zcatalog/zcalasses. I have tried to outline in on my zope page. http://www.zope.org/Members/joshon there are some files there with the zlass, and the methods that make use of it. The problem revolves around the system not seeing some instances of the class until the catalog is refreshed. It is a regular and repeatable problem. It doesn't see the first child of each line. Trying out Zope and IIS

I am thinking of trying out Zope with IIS. I am I going to regret it? I need to move into the Zope world slowly as I have large amounts of stuff that needs to be converted form Perl and ASP. Running Zope from IIS using the pcgi method outlined by brianh ( http://www.zope.org/Members/brianh/iis_howto ) seems like a good route. Would anyone care to share their experience of doing this?
