Hello, In my attempt to connect Zope and IIS I seem to be missing some steps. Can anyone tell me how to put Zope into Remote User Mode under Windows 2000? I have Zope running as a service. Thank you, Michael

FTP'n from windows

Does anyone have experience FTP'n to their zope site from windows. I'm trying and it connects fine, but It can't list the files. I can manually upload and download by name but I am unable to see what's there. Any Ideas?

Then you need to use mod_proxy+mod_rewrite in Apache virtual host configs, or alternately, Squid as a reverse-proxy server in front of Zope. Requests to domain2.com would be rewritten to support VirtualHostMonster's path-based Virtual hosting back-end URLs, which I would suggest using. There should be several howtos on Zope.org in this regard using mod_proxy/mod_rewrite in Apache. RESPONSE title

I have a method that I'd like to return an xml-file as RESPONSE. The name of the method is manage_saveAction. I've tried to do this: content = myDocument.toxml() RESPONSE.setHeader('Content-Type', 'text/xml') RESPONSE.setHeader('Title', "file1.xml") return content This works well, the content of the returned file is good, but the name of the response is "manage_saveaction", not "file1.xml". So I guess there is a problem with the third line, but I can't find it. Does anyone know what has to be done? Zope stops responding...

We have a peculiar case that our Zope server just stops responding after about a week, and the server gets about 50,000 hits a day. It's not using any CPU, and it's not running out of memory. It accepts connections, but doesn't follow through by returning any results. Sorry, we don't have any netstat info - we'll capture that next time it happens. Anyone have any ideas? Anywhere we can look in medusa to figure what it's doing? Richard

ZCatalog: Problems w/ certain words

I use ZCatalog for indexing and searching documents within Zope. Queries for certain words like: ftp, en, es, ge always return a Zope error message. Is there some language issue (en, es, ge, fr are all abbreviations for languages)? If I query for fr:someword for example, it return the results without any error message. Is this a feature or a bug? What about the term ftp? Accessing properties of the folder of a document

Hello, I wonder if I did not read carefully the docs but I have not found a clue, how to access the properties like 'id', 'title' and potentially others from the folder my DTMLDocument or a self written product (in Python code). Any ideas / examples how to do that? Kind regards Andreas.

File transfer

Hello Everybody, Firstly i have changed my email address from zopist(a)rediffmail.com to zopist(a)hotmail.com and now the problem i am facing: I tried to use webordner (from windows explorer) to transfer the files from my localhost to the companys zope server running on linux. It transfers all directories but not all the files. So i tried to use the FTP (from windows explorer). Now it transfers all the files but all the DTML methods and scripts become DTML documents. Anybody knows how can i overcome this problem !!
