Hi, I keep getting this error. I'm trying to determine if it means anything. (I recently moved my server and I *thought* I finally got rid of the old hostname stuff. The new stuff is appearing in the printout following *hostname*.) >>> 2001-02-17T19:42:15 PROBLEM(100) ZServer Computing default hostname <<< Also, for some reason my Zope server keeps shutting down and I continually have to re-start it (like every couple of hours). Any ideas on that one? TIA, BenO

problems installation of 2.3.1b1

how access zclass subfolders from an instance ??

hello i've created a zClass (folder,objectmanager are the superclasses) i created a folder in the zClass and placed an image there from an instance of the zClass i cant access the image, i get an permission denied error with the permissions, everything should be ok, cause i'm logged in as admin if i put the image in the root folder of the zClass it works just fine but i want to organize various contents with folders can anybody help thx bd

You recognize that this is quite similar to what you need. "Localizer" works for Zope 2.1.6, i.e. it is a bit out of time. It would need some rework for the current Zope 2.3 and SiteAccess2. This is much more difficult. You could try to override the ZClass' delete and rename methods. The problem will be how to access the original methods when you want to operate on non-special objects. This has been asked several times in the mailing lists (mostly zope-dev, maybe zope, too). But I cannot remember a solution. Dieter
