tHANKS BUT NO LUCK EITHER. oOPS...dANG cAPS lOCK... The DTML method was generated for my by ADDing a Z Search Method and selecting my ZSQL method. Aside from formatting some of the fields returned...the rest of the mechanics of it were untouched. In fact, I exported the Whole thing out to another Zope installation and the original configuration of the method works!!! Ahhhhhhh!!! Is there any particular reason you think you are exempt from the laws of the mighty Python? Excellent ideas! I've been balking at this because I don't want to rely on the exchange server as who knows if any interface I use will still be there in Exchange 2002 or whatever. Also, I wanted to try to keep all coding in one box that might be sold directly to a future client (Is it just me, or do employers always try and sell their one-off solution to others?) I suppose relying on the MS-TNEF data vs. relying on the COM interface within Windows isn't all that different. I think the MS-TNEF data (if I can decode it) would be a cleaner solution though. Gaa! When I finish this I'll try and make it available for others (haven't actually written a Python module yet.) Thanks for the help!

I have a system that has been working fine. Changed some things on a DTML method that calls the query but have since changed it back because of the errors. This part at the bottom of the search method had been working fine. Now I get errors from next-sequence-start-number. I am getting a KeyError when accessing a query when more than 50 which is the default size. IT WAS FINE!!! It is the generic code from the generated search method created. <dtml-if sequence-end> <dtml-if next-sequence> <a href="<dtml-var URL><dtml-var sequence-query >query_start=<dtml-var next-sequence-start-number>"> (Next <dtml-var next-sequence-size> results) </a> </dtml-if next-sequence> </dtml-if sequence-end> The production application is down while I look into this. How do I check for existence of a page?

We have our staff listed under /staff, so that you might find me as /staff?staffname=joel I'd like the return page from this method to check if I have a homepage on the site, and if so, provide a link. Right now, I'm doing this as: <dtml-in "PARENTS[1].home.objectIds(['Folder'])"> <dtml-if "_['sequence-item']==staffname"> <a href="/home/&dtml-staffname;">There is a home page</a> </dtml-if> </dtml-in> (cycle through folders under the '/home' directory, check the seq-id against my name, and if so, generate a link.)
