Large File Support ?!

OK, I'm sorry if this question is gonna prompt bursts of laughter, but here it goes :-) If I intend to store many files (and large ones, too) into Zope (on RHL7, BTW) - something close to a few GBs, it would mean that Zope's database will get to be one several-gigs-large file. Someone warned me of possible problems if using very large files under linux. The question is: was he right ? How does Zope cope with that ? Thanks ! Andrei Cenja, Bucharest, Romania.

LoginManager

Hello I wanted to try out LoginManager on my Zope 2.3b2, but Zope tells me I am missing ZPatterns... well, I am missing them as well! I mean I can't find the product nowhere in the site. Can somebody please tell me why I cannot find it? Thanks Stefano Vedovelli

zope 2.3.1b2 and ZCatalog

hello all before bedtime, i managed to update my dev site from 2.2.5 to 2.3.1b2, to see whether my production sites can run on 2.3.1b2. i followed the http://www.zope.org/Members/mcdonc/HowTos/UpgradeToNewCatalog and everything looks fine. exceprt that there's nothing in the catalog. is that normal? do i have to find items to catalog again? i would think the conversion will keep the current catalog contents. thanks

Change Password (third post) Help

Yes it is in the acquistion path, it is a root level property! I know that is what the problem appears to be, but how can changing a password cause it not to find a root level password???????
